"Positive: fantastic location just off the main shopping street. Near shops, restaurants, pubs etc And less than 50m from a branch of Bordeaux’s famous caneles shop La Toque Cuivree. (Don’t leave with trying a few!)
Slight negative: it’s in a pedestrian only street.
We weren’t affected but if you need to handle bulky luggage, the taxis can’t drive up to the hotel’s doorstep and you have to walk 100m or so.
Negative: the bathroom shower area was on a raised platform and wasn’t fully enclosed. The shower tile flooring became slippery once wet, and this made stepping up and down an exercise in caution."

Modern and well maintained hostel. Every member of staff I spoke with were always very helpful and friendly. No communal kitchen unfortunately but there is a microwave which was very useful. Laundry room, small gym always a positive!
Location is bit far of a walk from the center, but trams are located no more than 5 minutes away. Also a short walk away from Les Halles de Bacalan and plenty of bars and clubs if that's your sort of thing.

The bunks offer a lot of privacy. There's a 16 Euro deposit that *must* be paid by credit card. It's an 8-minute walk from the train station. The platform number isn't displayed until 20 minutes before departure. The bathrooms and showers are quite spacious, but there's no shower gel provided. There are lockers with combination locks. To turn on the lights, you first need to press a master switch with a blue light. The window faces the train tracks, so there's some noise from the road. The window curtains are very good at blocking out light. There's a small shelf with a light and charging port above the bed. You don't need to make your own bed. There's a bar on the top floor, and directly opposite downstairs, you can find places to eat with areas for kids to play. The nearby apartments and a small church have a really local, authentic vibe. It was more interesting to watch people walking their dogs, kids playing, and rolling metal balls than visiting tourist spots. I even saw an Indian little girl celebrating her birthday near the church!

The hotel was very pleasant, clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere during the stay was just great.
It was perfect at 10 minutes walk from the exhibition park.
The hotel is a perfect place to enjoy, relax and live a lively and original stay.

The location is acceptable, in the central area of Bordeaux, 500 meters walk after getting off the airport bus, the gate entrance is on the side of the street, easy to find, arrive at more than 10 o'clock in the evening, there are many people at the entrance of the bar, and feel safe. The rooms are small, with good hygiene, comfortable bedding and average breakfast. The front desk was good, and the taxi was booked, a better experience.

🟢 The location was very convenient and easy to travel around. We parked there and then used the tramway to get around. Convenient and easy. The inside of the building looks fresh and good. The rooms were quite big so we could spread everywhere. Surprised to see the toilets and showers separated, but enjoyable. Large choice for the breakfast for 18€ but had to wait sometimes for refill.
🔴 the staff wasn't really friendly except if you were the one to do your approach and talk to them. There was an alarm early morning during our stay and no-one was at the reception to greet us and tell us if we had to evacuate or anything. When we (other clients and us) told the réceptionnist it wasn't normal she got upset and replied back instead of apologising or anything. The staff didn't know what they were supposed to do in this case. Not reassuring if there's an actual fire someday.
🟡 cleaning wasn't amazing but could have been worse so no comment on that.

Guest UserThe hotel is newly renovated. The reception lobby is designed as muti propose use: playing table tennis, book reading, food enjoying. The sound proof in the room is good. Many choose is for the breakfast. The tram stop is just at the front of the hotel. You may take a tram ride to the hotel from airport with 1.7Euro. There is less than 10 minutes walk to the railway station or take a tram ride for a stop only. The staff is quite helpful.
The disadvantage is the room is relatively small.

Hôtel parfaitement situé,service de bagagerie très très pratique,personnel charmant,au calme malgré la proximité du tramway
A revoir la propreté des chambres malheureu*****t,nous y avons séjourné 2 nuits mais la chambre n a pas été nettoyé les draps tout juste tirés avec le lit plus ou moins fait,les toilettes pas nettoyé,la moquette de la chambre pas aspiré et il manquait également une serviette que nous avons dû aller récupérer a l accueil donc a revoir quand même pour un 4 etoiles

Room size is good for the price paid.
Location is convenient with direct connections to the airport and train station, and several tram and buses a short walk away. But you will need to walk a bit into the main town area (~10mins).

The hotel boasts excellent access, being close to tourist attractions. Its location, just one metro stop from the airport, is also a big plus. While the facilities are a bit dated, especially the old and inconvenient hairdryer, the staff are incredibly friendly and create a comfortable atmosphere. For a few days of sightseeing, it's perfectly fine.
