LLuweezyanaMy second stay at Queens. I liked this type room a little better than the first. Minibar and a bigger fridge was cool this time. And I got an outside view towards Fields Avenue.
DDavidThis place is right in the front of walking street. Out the door and down the stairs and your on walking street. Exactly what I was looking for in my stay. They even helped me get a taxi to the airport meeting me outside the door. Great time and it was clean everyday. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Fields palace hotel.
IIWASAThe location is a little difficult to find. The room is small. Is this price acceptable? There is a pool and restaurant. There was live music on Saturday night, and I was able to relax in the restaurant. They also had all-you-can-eat samgyeosal. You are not allowed to bring your own food, but there are no convenience stores nearby, and the prices for cooking beer are cheap and reasonable. I didn't have time to get a massage, so I couldn't do it. It has a pool and seems to be popular with families. Breakfast was plentiful.
GGuest UserThis is a pretty good hotel. Overall the staff are helpful and will do their best to assist you. The rooms are nice and have decent windows and have good air conditioning and even have mini fridges and tv with some movie channels. The location is also good as it’s near the SM Mall. It’s also quiet and can get a good night rest there. The free breakfast is also ok if very basic. They also have free water in the restaurant and front desk. You can easily charge all your devices as the key and room card are separate.
AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were spotless, well-appointed, and offered all the comforts I needed for a relaxing stay.
The only downside is the location—it’s a bit removed from the main attractions and requires extra travel time. While this might not be ideal for those wanting to be in the heart of the city, the quality of the hotel itself more than makes up for it.
CCYLINThe shampoo didn't lather well, and the only shower gel was a stiff bar of soap that wouldn't lather either. I couldn't stand it anymore and just went to the supermarket to buy my own.
The toilet always smelled bad. They didn't clean the room, and I had to ask for towels and water every day. It's a place you can stay if you don't have high expectations for accommodation. The bed is clean, and it's within walking distance of SM Entertainment.
GGuest UserA great central location which is quiet, a well conceived property, just poorly managed
The jacuzzi baths and shower screens are covered in scum, the jacuzzi baths stink of stagnant water ”hello legionnaires disease”, the elevators etc aren't wiped down for 3 days, that's they lower parts , the upper parts..., your guess is as good as mine
When you upgrade to enjoy a balcony and jacuzzi bath, little details like balcony furniture and a clean bathroom are generally appreciated, though not offered
GGuest UserI chose this hotel as one of the amenities mentioned a sauna. Apparently, they don't have a sauna amenity-- but a room that has a sauna. That is awfully misleading. As soon as we checked in, I was already disappointed.
While it is new and recently renovated, I find the various elements of the room overdesigned and not very user-friendly. The peephole on the door was too high for either of us to reach. It also didn't have a cover (security risk). It might’ve been 6 feet. The chair and desk was not very ergonomic, the table was too high and the chair low. I dunno, seems like they designed the room for big people and I’m just a hobbit in a human world. The tables’ glass tops easily slides off because it doesn't have rubber feet to keep it in place. The sliding doors of the closet could easily overlap that it’d be hard to pull them to close properly. The bathroom door was unnecessarily huge. The bathtub setup is not very accessible, it’s setup way too high that you literally need a foot stool (that they have ready) to climb on. Needing a footstool and a handle is very accident-prone (the room we got was not senior/PWD-friendly, or even for someone with injuries). Even as an able-bodied person, it feel like one wrong slip on the stool can have disastrous consequences. The tub drain can easily be stepped on and then it closes, weird.
The staff were nice and friendly but it was odd that they didn’t seem too aware about various hotel policies and rules or even amenities when asked about: whether the sauna was an amenity, if asking for a bottled water was paid, if getting something printed at the front desk would be paid, or when the lights would turn on when the power went out. Speaking of the power going out, it took more than 5 minutes, perhaps even up to 10, for the generator to kick in or maybe it was the actual power coming back already--not sure. But there was absolutely no care to its customers about the power outage that we were just in the room waiting for the lights to come on… It was never spoken about when we checked out the next day. No one checked on us after the lights came back on either. We had to find the number to call the front desk as the phone needs power to work and the number on the keycard doesn't work.
Only one guy in the restaurant seemed to be on top of things during breakfast. Also seemed like they used powdered pineapple juice.
But hey, the bed was really comfy, everything was new and clean. The room was also spacious.
