Hotels near Park Güell, Barcelona

Checking in was good and we thought we were in for a great stay. After that it was sadly downhill all the way. Rooms ok but basic, and upgrading to a Suite is definitely not worth the extra money. Take earplugs as the noise from the roads, restaurants, bin emptying etc is constant. The bar was not opened for our whole stay, and the staff were very dismissive when we questioned why it was not available. One receptionist just shrugged his shoulders and looked back down to his paperwork. After check in they barely acknowledged us as we came and went. No air conditioning in the rooms so we had to leave windows wide open at night - cannot imagine what it would be like in summer. No tea and coffee making facility in the room. No outside space to use unless you go down the road to the sister hotel. Basically confined to your room, and you had to go out to find all your food and drink as there was no Room Service on offer either.

We travelled to Barcelona for a work off-site, and WOW did this hotel impress. It was beautiful, the rooms were to a very high standard and the rooms from the roof top bar were brilliant. The hotel is in a great location, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. There were some special unexpected surprises included. The rooftop bar was amazing and we had such fun!

The location was excellent and I felt very safe when out for a run in the early morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the hotel breakfast and it was perfectly acceptable -- nothing spectacular but no problems either. The shower in particular was a problem in that it drained poorly, was very slippery when wet (see: drained poorly), and caused a lot of flooding on the floor of the main bathroom, which increased the slippery danger. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated the staff leaving an extra pillow in the armoire if we wanted it.

Rooms are clean, spacious and highly functional. Very warm services ( especially thankful to Christian) to warn our elder members on pickpocket and gave a loan kettle). Highly recommended. We will be back.

We stayed in this hotel for one night prior to returning home. It was the third hotel that we stayed in during our trip to Spain. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The area was great with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. My only suggestions for improvements would be to have more than one english television channel. It was our last night and we were tired out so we would have liked to watch something besides BBC news. There was also quite a wait for an elevator.

Este hotel está ubicado a tres cuadras de la estación de metro que en 20 minutos te deja en el centro. El señor que se encontraba en recepción a la noche nos indicó cómo ir sin necesidad de sacar el auto del estacionamiento, ya que es un incordio conseguir lugar para estacionar y los valores son altos. El hotel posee parking a la vuelta con un costo de 10€ diarios. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, cómodas, tanto el colchón como las almohadas. Disponen de caja de seguridad. Las instalaciones se ven limpias. Las personas de recepción son correctos. El único inconveniente que tuvimos es que pedimos si nos guardaban unas bebidas en la heladera del hotel porque la habitación no dispone de frigobar y nos dijeron que no lo tienen permitido. I stayed here for two nights in January 2022 as part of a group tour and overall had a pretty awful experience. I faced the following problems at this hotel- 1- The bathroom is open without any door so basically everyone in the room can see you inside the bathroom. This is not an ideal situation for any travelers except couples. Moreover, it ensures that the water from the shower falls into the room and makes it wet. 2- The bed provides no comforter or blanket. So when you feel cold you have to unwrap a brown paper full length cover that does not give any protection at all from the cold. 3- When you switch on the hand shower, the head shower comes on automatically, that too with ice cold water! 4- There is a large counter behind the bed to place items but when you put something on it, you get a loud metallic shrieking noise. 5- Air conditioning in the corridor outside the rooms is set to freezing temperature. 6- Breakfast timings were supposed to be from 7 am to 10 am, but when we went at 8 30 am most of the food was over and nobody was taking an interest in refilling the food. The coffee machine was not working properly. 7- We could hear everything that occurred in adjacent rooms, because soundproofing was poor. 8- We were given two separate beds in spite of being a couple. 9- Finding out which switches operate which lights was very difficult. Moreover on the first day we requested a wake up call which never came! The few positive points are- 1- Close to Fira Metro Station on the Metro Line 9 (4 minute walk) 2- Close to Gran Vía 2 shopping mall (12 minute walk) 3- Friendly and polite staff Overall I think the hotel needs to make a lot of improvements!

Good location near the airport, despite BCN's awful public transport. It's a nice, cheap place to stay if you need to be near the airport for an early flight and don't mind staying in a hostel bunk. I only stayed one night and didn't explore the area much, but it seems there's plenty around to do if you're staying a bit longer than I did.

The location of the hotel is very comfortable, with excellent cleaning and excellent friendlyness by the employees. I was particularly pleased with the director's attitude, who was not soaring at all by watching the number of clients waiting and left his office to provide assistance to the receptionists.

Very clean place. Easy to travel around, the station is just steps away. The staff is nice. We booked a three beds bedroom. The room is a bit narrow but that’s fine. The problem is there’s no nightstand in our room which is inconvenient. But it’s nice in total. And there are free hot chocolate.
