Great and clean hotel and all staff really friendly Should be a 5* hotel A bit noisy at night but still had a great sleep and breakfast was amazing We will be back to visit this hotel soon The parking area was well maintained and over looked beautiful gardens.

It really couldn’t be better. I only visit for single nights but because the food is wonderful and it’s such a peaceful friendly place I always have a good sleep and an excellent night away. Staff are really friendly and helpful sonineoukdntcdteycsnyehere else now when i’m in this area.

We were upgraded on arrival to one of the suites as the hotel was fully booked but still peaceful. Super room with views over the garden. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We dined in Oscars Restaurant both nights and the food, service and ambiance was excellent. The breakfast choice was second to none and they were happy to customise to suit. The food was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will use again. Recommend to anybody.

We always stay here and it never fails...beautiful, clean, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, delicious breakfast and friend professional staff. We had suite no 127 and I wish I had had more time to soak in the dream of a bath! Nothing beats a glass if fizz in the stunning gardens too absolute bliss.

Again we had a fantastic stay at the Abbey House Hotel. We have stayed in various rooms at this hotel, when we visit the area to see our son and they are always beautiful, clean and of a high standard. We are never disappointed. The staff are always friendly and extremely helpful. The grounds are kept immaculately. We look forward to our next visit and we can highly recommend a stay at this beautiful hotel.

Stayed here the night of our small, intimate wedding after being spoilt rotten in Oscars Restaurant downstairs. Stayed in the Craven Suite which was amazing - pure luxury! Every effort was made to make our room that little bit extra special - towel swans, rose petals, congratulations card etc. Breakfast the next day was beautiful & check out was 11am so had time for a snooze post breakfast before re-entering the land of the living out of the wedding bubble. Loved our stay & will undoubtedly be back for anniversaries xx

As a family of 24 we had a meal at Abbey House Hotel following a wedding in Barrow in Furness. I can only say that we were very well looked after by all staff from the front of house checking in, restaurant staff and bar staff alike. All of them where so warm and friendly. Very efficient. The food was exquisite. And it being the first day of the new Autumn menu it did not delay serving at all. The hotel decor mix of modern and old really works well, so elegant. Very beautiful rooms and the gardens where immaculate. Breakfast was as equally fresh and tasty.. I couldn't recommend the place highly enough. I hope to be a regular for many years to come.
