Motel 6 Cookeville, TN

Nice and clean. Check in was fast and quick. When I mentioned that I had stayed at a Motel 6 the night before that wasn’t good, she assured me that my room was clean. She even called to check to see if my room was ok. You can get Class B trucks in there but not semi truck and trailer. In walking distance to food.

I got the dungeon treatment, in the back lot, far, far away from the pool and lights for that matter. The room had the loudest air conditioner in the world and for all the noise it made it barely worked!! Very unhappy with my stay and they didn't care. Never, never again

Front desk staff was great. Rooms are basic, but comfortable enough for one or two nights for most travelers; I could stay a week or two without complaint. Our room here was a little larger than other Motel 6 locations we've stayed at, and a bit cleaner. Would stay again.

Booked room through their website, (Motel 6), for a basic king room little did we know that using a senior discount we would be placed in a room, way down the hill, not lighted well, ... More like a dungeon, when I told them that we could and WOULD not stay in such room, we were told that the floor with the office rooms cost $14.00 more. I refused to pay such as there was no notice on their site that staying in a well lit and easily accessible area cost more. I did finally get a ground room at the advertised price on the well lit and easy access area, and finally also on the ground floor, as I am in a full leg brace awaiting total knee replacement stairs are not on my menu!
