The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from Atami Station. There's a large Family Mart convenience store right at the corner, perfect for grabbing some snacks. In the lobby on the first floor, you can help yourself to skincare products like cleansing oil, which are from Pola. There's also a coffee machine and a microwave available for guest use. The room was typical of a Toyoko Inn – compact but well-equipped. I could hear the JR trains passing from my room, but it wasn't particularly early in the morning. Breakfast is served in the first-floor lobby. The selection was good, with both Western-style pastries and Japanese options like curry rice and miso soup. Compared to other Toyoko Inn hotels, the dining area here is a bit smaller and felt a little cramped, so it's best to go during off-peak hours for breakfast.

It is not far from the station, but because of the characteristics of Atami as a mountain city, it is very inconvenient to drag suitcases in the hotel south of Atami. I was exhausted with two suitcases on the first day, especially when I was in a hurry. The facilities are indeed old, but it's just like that after getting used to it. The small TV is a problem, but moving the table over, it's not bad for the family to watch TV at night. It's a bit troublesome to make the bed yourself, but it's also fun, and it's relatively easy to put on the quilt. In terms of service, the money I needed to pay was calculated incorrectly at the beginning, and I spent a lot of time at the front desk, and the attitude of the aunt with glasses was not particularly friendly, which is a minus point. Hot springs are a big plus. Self-service free booking is very convenient. You can scan the QR code to see where there are vacancies and go directly. If it is a day-return hot spring, the booking is very expensive. Overall, it is a good stay experience. It is like the Japanese apartment in Japanese dramas. The space is also open, and there is a microwave and refrigerator. It is worth recommending.
