My guesthouse（The No.1 courtyard) is in Miyun Beijing. It is ten kilometers east of Gubei Water Town near Wuling mountain. The house covers an area of more than six hundred square meters. It is make up of front and back yard, a large communal living room and four loft upper and lower rooms.The house is perfect for four families to gather for a vacation or small team building, and can accommodate 15 to 20 people.There are areas for playing billiards and barbecue in the front yard, and our hot spring spa pool is also located there. The primitive Simatai wild Great Wall is around the guesthouse, which is very suitable for hiking and climbing.In summer, we have alpine canoe drifting around the guesthouse, which is very thrilling.Gubei Water Town is the only large scale scenic area in the northern region with the character of the south river.At night, the buildings and Simatai Great Wall in the scenic area will be lit up by lights, and drone performances will also be held.Wuling Mountain is the nearest natural reserve with primitive forest to Beijing, containing gorges, waterfalls, sea of clouds and breathtaking scenery.The No.2 courtyard has a super high cost performance and is of a completely different style. It is a traditional northern rural old house with a large firebed and an unbeatable view of the primitive Great Wall behind it, which is more suitable for guests who love being close to nature. The No.3 courtyard is a delicate two-bedroom one-living room courtyard, with a barbecue table and a small swimming pool outside the courtyard, an open kitchen and a dining room inside, and guest rooms with a cozy Japanese tatami style. Needless to say, the transportation is very convenient. The highway is very convenient. It doesn't take long to get off the highway and drive along the winding mountain road. The interior is simple and spacious, and the equipment is basically complete, including gas stove, microwave oven, rice cooker, dishwasher, ice maker, refrigerator, karaoke, and super large TV. In short, everything that can be used is at hand. The barbecue equipment is also very complete, and there are special ovens for roasting whole lamb in large and small skewers. The bedroom is also very clean and comfortable. The sky is full of stars at night, and it is very quiet. There is a stream down the slope when you go out of the door, and the children can catch fish and tadpoles. There is also breakfast when you wake up the next day. The pickled vegetable shreds of the farmer's house with the perilla leaves grown by themselves have become a luxury for city people. It left a very good memory and I look forward to coming again in the future.

I would like to highlight three things in which I felt were very pleasant during my stay at the lodging.
First, I was pleasantly surprised at the service they offered. When my family and I were staying at lodging, the workers were extremely heartwarming and kind. They were willing to answer any questions we had about the attractions nearby and even drove us to the Jinshan Ling Great Wall of china Nearby.
Second, I would like to highlight the amenities and activities offered at the lodging. Although we only scratched the surface of the activities they offered. The lodging provided us with countless options. From having a mini movie theatre as well as pool & billiards room, they also offered a wide range of outdoor adventures such as kayaking and fishing which will surely enrich your stay there. Furthermore, the amenities themselves at the room we were staying in were exceptional. The lodging was spacious and provided us with separate rooms to stay in, making our stay an extremely pleasant one.
Lastly, I would like to highlight the food at the lodging itself. At every lodging one books I’m sure one would look forward to having delectable food right within a stone’s throw away. Needless to say, the food offered by the lodging from breakfast to dinner was both delicious and affordable.
I would highly recommend booking a stay here should you want to visit the attractions in the area but don’t forget to take time to enjoy and experience the adventures offered by the lodging too!

This accommodation accepts foreigners.
After booking this place, tried to contact owner via WeChat with contact provided, but owner never added me until I needed to text in Chinese from my phone (using translator). When arrived to the location he sent me on a map, I received directions to find the apartment myself. We never once met the owner of the property. All conversations using Wechat were in Chinese (me using translator).
The little studio was clean when we arrived, but later at night was full of loud insects that we had to eliminate in order to sleep. The bed was very hard not comfortableat all. The kitchen was supposed to have everything available to make meals (at least was what I have read in previous reviews) but in reality had nothing, not even a spoon. It was a very simple place, a bit expensive for what you get.

This is a good budget option if you want to stay overnight near Gubei Watertown - but there are serious limitations. It was very confusing and quite stressful when we first arrived at the location provided - we couldn’t find the address given, but a local lady was very helpful and called the owners/managers for us and then a driver came to collect us. The address given is a meeting point, not the location of where you are actually staying. It was as we were driven to the 2 apartments (not rooms in an individual villa) that I realised we were not staying in or right at the Watertown as I thought we were. It was a 5-10 minute drive away. To be clear the managers were very friendly and always available on WeChat and the driver took us to and from the Watertown whenever we liked so that was fine - but it means you have to pay entry every time you enter the Watertown - which is expensive - so just take that cost into account. There also didn’t seem to be anywhere to eat at the apartment complex either but perhaps we couldn’t find it (it was a huge complex) so I recommend you eat before you go or take (especially breakfast) food with you. I booked two rooms with a view. One room had a GREAT view of the Great wall (photo included) and the other looked at nondescript trees and grass the other direction. Mainly I went on this special trip with my older parents to Gubei so it was disappointing that we weren’t really staying together in a villa - we were in a giant apartment building on separate floors.

The most cost-effective apartment in Gubei Water Town is good in all aspects. The location is very good to find the service is very intimate, very good! The sanitation is very clean. The boss is very enthusiastic and has been helping us introduce the delicious and fun surroundings. We always ask this and that. The boss is very patient to help us answer, not annoying us. The room is next to the scenic spot. After we booked it, we called the front desk and they told us which parking lot was closer. It was indeed quite close. We parked in Parking Lot No. 1 and it only took us ten minutes to walk there. The room was very clean and it only took three to five minutes to walk to the scenic spot. The receptionist was very attentive and the room was fully equipped. I was very satisfied and will recommend friends to stay here in the future!

I recently stayed at Wtown Cloud Dream Resorts and was very pleased with their service and overall experience.
The pickup service from the station was exceptional. The hotel staff were prompt and courteous, making the transfer to the resort smooth and hassle-free. This level of service was greatly appreciated after a long journey.
The resort itself is located about a 10-minute drive from Wtown. While it’s not right in the heart of Wtown, the short drive was a small trade-off for the tranquility and comfort offered by the resort. The serene environment and beautiful surroundings made it worth the distance.
Overall, Wtown Cloud Dream Resorts provides great service and a peaceful retreat just a short drive from Wtown. I recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Wtown with the added comfort and service of this lovely resort.

Comparatively speaking, this one is very cost-effective, much better than the ones in the scenic area! It is about 20 square meters in the scenic area, and this two-story hotel has a balcony! The price difference between the B&Bs in the scenic area is really too much, and the price difference is not as good as Just buy an annual pass for unlimited entry and exit.
(PS: You can bring as much food and drink as you can. After all, it is a commercial attraction, so it must be expensive. Nongfu Spring is 3 yuan, and Jägermeister is 168 yuan.)
By the way, self-driving friends can enjoy pick-up and drop-off by the boss car. Only one copy of the entire scenic spot, free)

A wonderful experience from beginning to end. Extremely clean apartment, well appointed with fresh linens and towels etc. The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The shuttle bus service to and from Gubei Water Town was prompt and easy; I just had to message the owners to ask when we needed to go or be picked up. Breakfast was delivered to the apartment each morning. We were even given a free upgrade to a slightly larger apartment from the one we originally paid for! Many thanks for a lovely stay!

The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of cuisines ranging from Western delicacies to Chinese comfort food. The breakfast buffet opens from 7 - 10 AM.
The dinner buffet is a wonderful unforgettable luxury experience, serving hotpot, fresh Seafood and meat, and an ice cream station. The dinner buffet opens from 5:30 - 9:30 PM.
The room is very clean and looked new, the staffs are friendly and polite. Overall a wonderful experience, would definitely come back again.

We loved the thoughtful and personalized anniversary decor on the bed, cards and bubbles. A special thank you to Paolo and the team. The delicious and decadent cake we ordered from the bakery was absolutely delicious. All the staff were professional, friendly and made our experience phenomenal. The afternoon tea, cocktails and light dinner at the club were delectable and so enjoyable. Can't wait to return for another awesome staycation at The Regent.

GGuest UserThe hotel is within minutes of walking distance to the subway station - Zhushikou exit A. The reception is good except mediocre English. Housekeeping is not 24hrs. We were surprised as we had asked for replenishment of mineral water at abt 1030pm. There is no closet except for a stand with 4 clothes hangers. One of reception staff is very good, he helped booked a cab for airport and accompanied us while waiting for the driver.
