Regular campsite with few tourists. The owner speaks neither English nor French.
We were not able to use the swimming pool because it had turned (green and therefore under maintenance)
The mobile home was clean (except the dishes) and shaded but dated. And poor quality bedding.
The owner charges €1 per hour to use the ping pong table!!!
Despite all good stay because good location close to Heliopolis beach

Terrible treatment, we were looking at campsites in Benicasim to go there for a weekend, we have been to all of them to see them and no problem, on the contrary, super friendly everywhere and they have let us all come in to see the entire campsite. We entered this last place, it was 1:40 p.m. There was no one at reception, it was closed, we looked out and saw no one. We were taking a look at the bathrooms (which were disgusting because of how dirty and neglected they were) and as we left a "man" came to us and told us what are we doing there, that we can't go in, we explained to him that we wanted to take a look to go with the caravan and in a very bad manner he tells us that we cannot enter the campsite, much less the bathrooms. If we want to know something, we should look at the brochure... not rude, the following. Of course we will not set foot in that seedy campsite with unpleasant staff again.

The manager/owner; Carlos, is the most friendly, kind, helpful Spanish man we have met in 50 years. He will do everything to make you happy, or, as he says himself: I want that you be happy. We booked a completely different caravan (according to the photo on the internet and we would never have booked this one) but it turned out to be occupied. The one we were allocated was much older and decrepit. According to the owner, there was an error with the photos. On arrival it was cold, it was raining and the power of only our mobile home was out. The technician could not come until after the weekend, so we were forced to leave for a nearby hotel. On Monday afternoon it was indeed repaired and the hotel costs were immediately reimbursed without any problems. Other minor issues were also rectified immediately. The beds were fine as well as the shower, toilet and a perfect wifi. The air conditioning worked well but is clearly in need of replacement or an intense cleaning. The pool is great and there is a restaurant. There are many old, dilapidated caravans on the otherwise beautiful grounds with palm trees. The beach is 5 minutes walking distance, flat terrain. You can't really expect more for price/quality.

The campsite is small but very comfortable. Although it took me a little while to get them to answer the phone before I arrived, they later took great care to facilitate my arrival (I arrived very late). Both the person in charge of the campsite and the person at the cafeteria are super friendly. The mobile home was impeccable. I was very satisfied and grateful.

For the price, fantastic value. A rustic campsite with all the essentials. Fantastic service and support, everyone was smiling. Kids were permantently outdoors and playing with other children on the playground. 3 minute walk to the beach full of bars and services. Unbeatable value.
