Good apartment and really clean

Good location, nothing special but quite OK

We stayed here for 6 nights. It is situated near Potsdamer Platz means that we can have easy access to some of Berlin’s shopping mall and restaurants (500 m to Mall of Berlin and 150 m to Palayce) and well-connected by public transportation. Transportation is another highlight of this location. With several U-Bahn (the stop is Madelson Bathordy Park which next to apartment) and bus no M29 at the back of it. By taking M29, you can arrive at Charlie Checkpoint and Kurfurstendamm. We just need one stop by U-Bahn to Postdamer Platz if it is too cold to walk outside. For anyone seeking a place with everyday convenience, High Park by Palmira is an ideal choice.

I booked the apartment for 6 nights and, upon arrival, my wife and I were dissatisfied. Despite being seasoned travelers, we were misled by the photos and the description of the place. The cleanliness was deficient, the location was noisy, the heat was unbearable, and the apartment was not practical. Despite having a kitchen, it was useless to use as it was only 40 cm away from the bed, forcing us to eat lying in the bed (the refrigerator door doesn't open fully because it hits the bed). We then went to reception and requested a reduction in the number of nights, but encountered an inflexible, deceitful, and hostile response. We were told things like "no hotel in Germany has air conditioning," or "did you not see the photos?" Regarding the air conditioning: while the description did mention its absence, it failed to mention that the apartment itself was unusually hot for unknown reasons. It was 27 degrees inside while only 14 degrees outside, and opening the window resulted in significant noise. We have had similar experiences before, of asking to leave before the total nights, and we have always found a certain level of fair play, but not in this apartment. I proposed several reasonable compromises: charge me two nights' penalty, charge me half of the 6 nights, the city is crowded, there is a holiday, but to no avail, and the staff adopted a tone that made us lose confidence, so we left the place on the 2nd day and bear the financial loss. Are they simply unpleasant individuals, or is the property in such serious need of money? Whatever the answer, I strongly advise staying away from these individuals. The apartment, besides everything else, is expensive. I went to a 4 star hotel in Mitte, better location, breakfast, services, comfort, air conditioning, and the price was 30% cheaper.
