I went because of the pool, but there was a conference on the day I went, so I couldn't use the pool. It would be nice if you could post a more accurate swimming pool announcement on the website. Other room facilities were good.

I love this hotel and go as often as I can. It's in a really interesting neighbourhood, near good independent shops and places to eat. It's within easy walking distance of the U-Bahn, or a tram. It's full of history. The pool is brilliant and the sauna is good too. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. But it's rooms that are the icing on the cake, the Premium rooms are really good and amazing value. It's not in the centre of Berlin but it's well worth making the effort; it's really good.

Das Hotel liegt im tollen Stadtteil Prenzlauer Berg mit vielen Kneipen, Restaurants und Geschäften. Die nächste Ubahnstation liegt nur 5min zu Fuss entfernt. Das Hotel ist ein über 100 Jahre altes Schwimmbad das sehr aufwendig restauriert wurde. Unsere Zimmer im Maisonnette Stil waren sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Frühstück sehr ausgiebig. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Within hours after checking in we learned that we had to cancel the balance of our 4 night stay. The staff understood and appreciated the situation and went out of their way to assist in every way possible. Over the years my travels have taken me around the world many times and this was some of the best customer service I've ever received in a hotel.

This is an “offbeat” and charming hotel in a renovated building that functioned over 100 years ago as a spa and place to shower for the area locals. It has been tastefully updated with appreciation of remnants of the original building. Staff is friendly and helpful. The location is good and amidst many restaurants and boutiques.

This hotel is fantastic. Excellent facilities well equipped rooms and helpful friendly staff. We arrived for a 3 night break as part of our honeymoon, they left some chocolates and a handwritten card to congratulate us. They also left us two free pool passes as a lovely gesture. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast was lovely although perhaps a little pricey. They offer either a free swim pass or drink if you decide not to have your room cleaned to encourage sustainability which again was a nice touch. After a day of sightseeing in Berlin we enjoyed our free drink in the cosy bar. We had a loft room which had a downstairs part and a separate room upstairs where we slept. The beds were also very comfortable. We would definitely return.

Such a great hotel. First, it is in the middle of Prinzlauer Berg, a beautiful urban center filled with old apartment buildings, restaurants, bars, parks, music venues, clothing shops, beer gardens, Jewish history and so much more. It is unlike any other part of Berlin with most of it surviving from before the war. Mitte is just a short walk away. As is Bernauer Strasse with the remnants of the wall (PB was in East Berlin, but it feels timelessly European). It is a local area, not a tourist area. There are very few hotels in PB, but this would be a special hotel no matter where in the city. The old Stadt Bad is wonderful, and the rooms are light airy and modern. Breakfast was excellent. This is special place to stay and a great hotel.

The hotel in the old building of the former bathing establishment is very nice. During the renovation, the old values were preserved and combined with the modern. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was not exactly cheap, but it was plentiful. The staff were all very friendly.

The freshly prepared scrambled eggs were very good. And this room also breathes the history of the bathing establishment. The access to the car park could be better signposted. You should not arrive by car without having reserved a parking space. Getting a space in this residential area in the afternoon/evening is a matter of luck. If you prefer something special to a faceless, random 4-star hotel, this is the place for you.
