It had to be a room for three people and the first day the extra bed was a very small sofa. We discussed it the next day and they changed our room without a problem. Sufficient and complete breakfast and very good service. Very well located hotel

Hotel well located in the Prenzlauer Berg district, 3 stations from Alexandre Platz, the Berlin transport hub. The establishment is located in the center of a building block and is therefore very quiet. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. The rooms are tasteful, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very generous and the products are quality. Finally, the value for money is very good. We spent 5 nights there and will return with great pleasure.

Hotel located in the Prenzlauer district exactly in front of the tram stop which reaches Alexanderplatz in about 7 minutes (alternatively a pleasant walk of about twenty minutes). Arriving in the evening after 9pm we did the self check in (very simple) and then went down the next morning for the various formalities. Simple room and bathroom not renovated but overall comfortable and quiet. We chose the formula with breakfast (to be evaluated: the cost is €25.00 for two adults and a child) served in a room on the ground floor and based essentially on the savory side (however all the products are of quality). The "multilingual" lady who takes care of the reception and breakfast is kind. Overall we had a very good time. Absolutely promoted

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room, especially the bathroom, was quite small (smaller than expected) but luckily that was no problem to us. Great location, very accessible by public transport and a cute neighborhood. Also, very comfortable beds!

We’d recommend the Old Town Hotel strongly for a good stay in Berlin – we were there for seven nights, and felt we’d made a very good choice. I suppose it’s at the budget end of pricing for hotel accommodation close to the centre of a major European city, but it is still very comfortable and secure, with friendly assistance at the desk and a good breakfast, again with friendly service. Location is excellent – just four stops on the tram from Alexander Platz; once there it’s easy to get to any destination in Berlin, and the airport train will drop you off at Alexander Platz station, so transfers are no problem. The area around the hotel is fine. We ate at an Italian restaurant across the road on two evenings, and there’s an excellent Vietnamese street food café just round the corner, which we also used twice. This means that after a good day of sightseeing you can easily eat well within close proximity of the hotel. If we returned to Berlin I’m pretty sure we’d stay at the Old Town hotel again, and recommend it to anybody we knew who was planning a trip themselves.
