Beautiful & unspoilt location to get away from it all! The property is located on this stunning beach with an infinity pool to enjoy the views, together with the well kept gardens or beach to lie back & totally relax! The beach villa is well worth the extra & enjoys a comfortable rustic style with the view & gentle sounds of the ocean. The rustic style continues throughout with a picturesque decking accommodating the restaurant. The menu is varied, reasonable & we enjoyed exceptional dishes every time. The staff are all very friendly & welcoming at every encounter, particularly Anuar who is an absolute delight with such a cheerful & friendly nature, always wanting to make sure that his guests are enjoying their stay. We highly recommend this resort & island - itβs just a short ferry ride from Singapore & approx 50 minute taxi ride but you get to see the island at the same time too. Thanks for the earlier recommendation re: Taxis too. Donβt go for the ones immediately as you come through customs & immigration, but those just as you exit. (Barter too, as we paid 250,000 Ind Rupiat each way plus tip).

Customer service at this resort is excellent. While the location is slightly secluded, it offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The Ocean View Room is perfect for couples, and I highly recommend trying their barbecue. Personally, I found the Normal Room to offer more privacy compared to the Ocean View. Cleanliness is generally acceptable but could be improved.
They also offer additional services such as massages, but they have limited masseurs, and there were some communication issues during my experience, which limited the massage duration to 30 minutes. I believe the masseurs could benefit from more training to enhance the overall customer experience.
I would suggest booking a private driver for a day to explore the area. Additionally, the resort provides acceptable currency exchange rates, which is commendable

*TLDR*
Good:
Service 10/10
Buggy around the resort!!
KOPI TARIK for bfast was SO GOODDDDD really the best coffee ive ever had in my life
Super value for money stay as compared to other resorts where you have to pay for literally everything even after the pricey $700 you paid for 2 nights
Bad:
Felt a little unsafe for two girls to walk back to our room cuz it was so dark
No convenience store
A little restrictive cuz you can only eat & shop from the options they have within the resort (nothing to shop also haha its just a gift shop with random swimsuits and souvenirs)
Located a bit far from ferry terminal (1h) but transport provided!
Went with a friend and was so amazed at the size of the resort π³π³ really loved that we got to stay at the upper floor and there were 2 bicycles parked outside for us to get around the resort (but we just kept calling for buggy hehe - free btw!!)
Resort was a little far from ferry terminal (1hr airconditioned coach ride) but they provided us a cookie and water for the journey! No convenience stores located within/around the resort and i just spent the entire 3d2n in the resort. Would recommend a 3d2n for a very relaxing holiday ππ»
We didnt manage to try all their activities but had a great time eating HAHAH their local indo food restaurant is a MUST GO π€€ everything else was alright only but service 10/10 really HAHAHA would go back maybe next year
Free activities: Morning yoga, stand up paddling, kayaking, teh tarik workshop, honey tasting, animal farm (u get to feed them for free too) etc
Need to pay activities: Snorkelling (went during non-peak period so it was only us two with the instructor and an instructor-friend we made the day before), jetski, wakeboarding (this was fun.... And salty) etc

(Room) Our 3D2N trip was fantastic! The service, food and view was absolutely amazing. Our room was very cosy, just a tad bit dark. Thereβs air-conditioning and hot water so we were comfortable. The only issue we had would be the mosquitoes; we were bitten so many times. The staff at the DeCliff Cafe even gave us a bottle of insect repellent to ward them off, but the mosquitoes seem to be immune. Luckily the balcony doors were meshed so we could enjoy the view/get some light into the room. - (Easy reservations/transportation) Arrangements for transportation to and from the ferry terminal, reservations for dinner at Tanah Merah Seafood (super yummy!), our snorkeling day out with the Bintan Cool, and massage was done seamlessly with the help of the reception counter. - (Food) Before our stay, we checked out the reviews of the hotel from many sites, dating back to 2018 being the most recent ones, and many concerns were about the food being too salty. So we were considering to bring our own food, but we were so glad that we did not because the food was amazing! (1) DeCliff Cafe For dinner on our first day, we decided to have our meal at the DeCliff Cafe. Not only was the view breathtaking, but we were also pleasantly surprised by how yummy the food was. I had an oxtail rice set, and my boyfriend had the chicken chop. The onion rings were my personal favourite. (2) Breakfast For bfast on the 2nd day, we were given a menu instead of the typical bfast buffet at normal hotels (probably because there werenβt that many people at the point of time). The chicken fried rice was extremely tasty, and iced milk tea ended up being my favourite drink during our stay here. Bfast the day after was the usual buffet style, and the fried rice and soup were our pick for that morning. - (Special thanks to the staff) The service here is impeccable, and the staff here were very polite and friendly. Aguz took great care of us - always driving us up to our room because the whole place is atop a hill which we are ever grateful for. - (To note) Just the mosquitoes, bring mosquito nettings for your beds, and I would suggest long pants/tights instead of shorts. Sunscreen and mopiko is a must!

Outstanding
GGeorg ChristopherThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.
NNur Hidayat Bin Abd RashidBest holiday trip ever. Near to ferry terminal, access to activities was easy. Plenty of interesting activities to do. Best was the ATV experience. Great food, excellent service from staffs. Will surely drop by again. Can't wait!
RRlmeWe had a great stay in Cassia!!
1) staffs are all very friendly, always ready to greet people by smile, small talks, went extra miles to deliver a top notch service. Special shout out to Yance (we met him from Xana beach club) who was so kind and willing to go extra miles to ensure we had a great time βΊοΈ and the Zumba instructor who was a ball of energy π
2) food was delicious, Lotus cafe, u beach club, Vista, Treetops, tried the food from all of the above places and it was amazing!! Delicious, clean and beyond expectations
3) fun activities: badminton, beach volleyball ball, soccer, table tennis, aqua Zumba, foam pool party etc. the infinity pool was great too!! It was super clean and the water was not cold
4) the room was clean, they provide daily drinking water, beach tower with a bag (which is great!). They also provide free shuttle service for pick up and drop off from ferry terminal (by shuttle bus operated by the hotel).
I have nothing to complaint about for this place, highly recommended π«ΆπΌ
NnrhysaTruly enjoyed our time over at The Anmon Resort Bintan. Check-in was quick and fuss free. Very nice and friendly staffs. Room was clean and spacious. Comes with free transfers from the BBT jetty and free breakfast buffet. Would definitely come again!
GGuest UserThis would have got an average rating had it not been for the staff - competent, professional and always willing to help. The facilities seem jaded maybe due to the Covid related lockdowns etc and some parts especially the toilets ( the toilet seat was almost black ) were a disappointment. The location is excellent with a fantastic sea view from the restaurant and the beach is clean for the most part. The villas are good with a nice private pool and decent sized rooms. Our requests for buggy to transfer us from our Villa to the main building were always attended to promptly. The a-la-carte food that we had in their restaurant- we tried the local Indonesian cuisine- was excellent but the breakfast buffet was average. When I had interacted with the staff after booking this place, I was told that late check out is subject to βavailabilityβ but it clearly isnβt as they charge for every extra hour. This could have been communicated in a better way. There is room for improvement but overall we had a good stay as the property is quite good.
GGuest UserWe have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.
AAshling MagdelynInitially i wouldn't want to give Alltrue Hotel a bad review. The room was really nice, comfortable and clean. The whole hotel looked really pleasant and the staff were very smiley and friendly. But something happened during our first night stay over during CNY recently.
Me and my husband was asleep and suddenly we got woken up by a loud singing voice that echoed the whole room at 3am in the middle of night. The TV turned on by itself and a creepy figure was standing in the screen singing. For some reason, the sound of the TV was super loud. My husband immediately switched off the TV after he noticed i was trembling very badly. We immediately ran out of the room to find the reception and asked the staff on duty to come up to our room to rectify the issue. Upon turning the TV back on, the figure was still there singing.
The staff told us that someone(might be another guest) has been pranking the hotel by casting this specific video to random TVs in the hotel as they are using smart TV. He changed our TV WIFI to another private network and assured us that it would not happen again.
The next day at 12 noon, the same thing happened to another TV in the hotel as we can hear the loud singing coming from outside of our room again. The staff on duty promptly turned it off. My husband immediately went down to the reception and informed the staff on duty(different staffs because change of shift) what happened last night and asked them if they are able to solve the issue. They just replied that there is a hacker doing this and that they have called the technician in to rectify the issue. Sadly the issued is never solved and we had to unplug the TV from the socket to prevent anyone from casting the video to our TV.
Through the entire stay, i felt so uneasy just being in our room even if the plug is unplugged. I had time sleeping every night even though the bed is super comfortable.
Till the very end of our stay, we found out that the issue is still there and anyone on the same WIFI can still cast any videos to our room TV.
Honestly we are quite disappointed on how they handle everything. They did not apologize sincerely and follow up with us on this issue. But overall, i don't blame them because this problem came up due to this prankster and security lapse as they have very weak WIFI password and protection.
Till today I'm still traumatized by it and have problem sleeping at night because of this. Just wanted to remind everyone to unplug the TV from the socket when you stay at any places with a smart TV as people are able to cast videos even on TVs that are on stand by mode.
Really disappointed because i really liked the room and the ambience. I just wished that there was a follow up on the issue or solving the issue properly would have been good so i could have feel comfortable for the rest of the stay.
HHansThis place has the nice vibes of a traditional resort. Staff were largely polite, welcoming and friendly. Thereβs a large private beach area.
However, my stay was marred by several issues. I booked a room with options for either a double bed or 2 twin beds. Upon arrival, I was told that there were no double beds available. I asked the staff if thereβs anyone in a double bed room whoβs checking out today, and told the staff Iβm willing to wait if there is. She said thereβs a guest in a double bed room whoβs checking out that day, but sheβs unable to βconfirmβ. She suggested that I take a room with 2 twin beds combined instead. Sensing that Iβve no choice, I reluctantly accepted it, and upon reaching that room, I saw the adjacent room with a double bed and the room looked vacant. I went back to the reception to ask if I could take that other room, and this time another staff took over and told me thereβs a room with double bed for me but I have to wait for it to be ready. I agreed but felt perplexed why the first staff couldnβt have just told me the same thing. Itβs not like I insisted on having a double bed room immediately, I already said Iβm willing to wait.
Another issue was the wifi. We all had problems connecting to the wifi, and when we finally got connected, the connection was often unstable.
On the second night, there was a power failure and the electricity was out for several minutes.
Overall, this is still a nice comfortable resort that makes a good getaway from the city. It will be even better if staff communication and wifi can be improved.
GGuest UserRoom is very practical: spacious layout & clean. Comfortable bed. Bathroom is large & clean. Food options are also practical: tasty/ well- prepared. Not a wide variety but sufficient. I suggest limiting plastic bottled water provision for large group functions.Undoubtedly, that's up to the consumer. But hotel can make a stand on this.
θ£θ£I got the wrong ticket, so I came to this hotel. There is no other choice in the local area. The building is very old. Apart from the sea view on the rooftop and the smiling service at the front desk, everything else is lacking. The hygiene of the room is the biggest problem. Itβs dust, the blanket doesnβt feel changed, the sheets are black and a lot of cigarettes are hot out of the hole... drunk... Breakfast is difficult to swallow, no porridge to buy, milk drinks are not, tea and coffee can not add milk ... would you rather have a better room for a better experience? There is a local tour in the hall. Although it is cheap, I donβt understand English in driving. I donβt understand Chinese. Itβs a crash... I must remember the next time I canβt make a mistake....
