Booked through *******, check-in listed as from 1pm, owners turned up at 4pm. Checked their computer, and no trace of a booking in my name, despite the fact that I had paid in full and had an ******* reservation number. When I said I would have to ring *******, the owner laughed at me and said *ha ha, good luck with that - this is why you should always book direct * They then suddenly had a "meeting" to attend, and told me I would have to leave as they were locking up. These people want bookings from online agents, but when things go wrong, they are no help whatsoever, just rude and sarcastic. Would NEVER book the Garnett again.

First time we have stayed here. The hotel is clean and welcoming. The rooms were really spacious. The owners Alan and Dean were fantastic hosts. Also it was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Such a lovely place and can’t wait to stay again.

A lovely warm welcome from the owners Alan and Dean. Our en suite twin room was quite small but had everything we could want – comfy beds, TV, tea & coffee etc, kettle, bedside lamp, bath robes – and was really nicely decorated with colour co-ordinated bedding. The full English breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious (and lots of it ! ) There was also a good selection of cereals, jams etc Very handy for the beach, Madam Tussauds, the famous burlesque/cabaret Funny Girls show bar and various bars & restaurants.
