Absolutely horrendous. Travelled on the 22nd august. Greeted by a lovely man but that was the only thing that was nice. On arrival it smelt musty but thought we'd see how it is. Got into our room. Well wallpaper was ripped all over, bed sheets stained, bathroom hot water didn't work. Bedroom window didn't close properly. Same night there was a game force winds and we couldn't sleep as window didn't close properly. Came to 5am and we left. I definitely wouldnt recommend this hotel.

The rooms were very dated and needed a lick of paint, but to be honest the hotel is great. The staff are friendly. The price was amazing £44 for the night. I didn't like the size of my room but for the price I can't really complain.

Disgusting place, something really weird about the place, I could sense some terrible things had happened in there. Also found needles outside the ‘bedroom window’ more like a box, constant banging 3 times, stops and starts again. I’d genuinely avoid this place at all costs, disgusting rooms sick all up the wall, human faeces on towels provided. Dirty shower, filthy bedding, I will be going to environmental house. Appalling

I honestly don't know where to begin with this hotel. It's an absolute disgrace. We are regular visitors to Blackpool and have stayed at a number of hotels / BnBs there over the years, but The Stone House Hotel is by far the worst one we have ever stopped at. We booked a night there for the Illuminations / Firework Championships with our two young children. To be honest, the place looks quite bright and pleasant from the outside, but it quickly turns grim after you walk through the door. The halls and communal area stink of cigarette smoke. We stayed in Room 4, which overlooks the front street and it was revolting. Layers upon layers of gloss slopped all over the walls, broken sockets, broken wardrobe, brown / red stains on the mattress, loose taps, dirty mismatched mugs and a load of property down the side of the bed that belonged to a former guest. Handbag, hairbrush, spectacles and a cigarette lighter. Battery cover missing off the tv remote, suspicious white stains in the draw and and upside down mirror. The list is truly endless. If you happen to be a larger individual, there is no way you are sitting down for a poop. There simply isn't space to sit in the ridiculous ensuite. The shower screen is right infront of the toilet and opens out into the seat. There are two double beds squeezed into the room and they simply don't fit and a bunkbed should replace one of them. We couldn't bring ourselves to use the shower or even brush our teeth in with the water. It felt like the place was crawling. Really feel sorry for the poor chap that man's the desk. He isn't part of the management and simply staffs the front desk and hand south the room keys. He must be faced with so many negative responses from the guests. Just an all round dirty place to sleep. I really want to be positive but there's nothing good about this place. I'd sooner sleep on soggy cardboard outside Coral Island in my underwear than spend another night at this hotel. It seriously needs shutting down and tearing down to bare brick. We paid £94 for this. Revolting.

Ok - it did for us but was a bit pricey for what it is and no breakfast. Very noisy area though, no good if you want to sleep before 1am. Staff were nice though and it was clean enough but the hot water tap didn’t work.
