Homestead Inn - Blowing Rock

The Valet family was so welcoming to us for a last minute stay. We were feeling a little anxious not having a place to stay and as soon as I reached Caroline by phone, she put me at ease and welcomed us in. Chris was beyond attentive, always checking to make sure we were comfortable and didn’t need anything. The rooms are so charming, cozy and well maintained. We will be back!

Small, family run hotel, quiet, beautiful garden/grounds, less than 1 block off Main Street in the center of Blowing Rock. Stayed in newly renovated King room with fireplace. comfortable bed & pillows. Nice bathroom with strong shower, plenty of hot water, and a jacuzzi tub. Would HIGHLY recommend choosing this hotel! Family was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating! Thank you for a great stay :))

Service was top-notch! Young man checking us in (Zach? Youngest of 3 boys in an obviously family run place) was so personable! Room was beautiful and obviously newly renovated. Close to everything in quaint town. We could not have been happier! From observing the other guests we could see that this is a place where people come back!

Loved staying in one of their cottages! Cozy and sparkling clean, newly remodeled with everything you could need. Awesome location since a few steps away from Main Street. Responsive and helpful management. Would stay here anytime I visit blowing rock!

Lovely little Inn located in downtown Blowing Rock. We stayed for 2 nights in a king room with our two dogs. We arrived after the office closed on our first night but the process could not have been easier. My credit card was charged and a key and receipt were waiting for me in the office upon arrival. The room was cozy and quiet and we were walking distance to all of downtown Blowing Rock's shops and restaurants. The only thing that was a little weird for me was that I never actually met anyone that worked there other than over the phone when booking and updating my card before arrival. There's no phone in the room to call the front desk but no one ever seemed to be in the office anyway so I guess it made sense. This is my first time staying in a small Inn vs a larger hotel so this may be a normal practice and I'm just not used to it. It was also interesting connecting with the hotel via text most of the time but did not detract from the overall positive experience. I would definitely book here again if coming back to the area and will recommend it to friends who plan to travel that way. It was nice to find a place to stay where we could have our dogs without being charged $100+ and be within walking distance of the whole of downtown.

We had a very enjoyable 2-day stay at the Homestead Inn. The grounds are very well maintained, charming and beautiful (just as it looks in their photos). Location is perfect for walking into town (2 minutes) to visit shops and restaurants. Rooms are nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a Queen room (1 Bed) which although a bit small was nicely equipped and fine for the two of us. The Inn is family owned and operated, and all the staff we encountered were super nice and friendly. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!

Beautiful place to go and conveniently located with eating places and shops a block away. Gorgeous flowers. Glad I brought a firm pillow from home. We enjoyed the swings the fountains and gazebo. Fireplace in evening. Coffee in room and fridge. Chris let us in early so that was a plus. My mattress made a strange squeak when I turned in bed and it sloped to the edge. Would go back again because of the pluses.

The place is very clean and cozy! It is beautiful to drive into, for the flowers are beautiful and welcoming. The rooms are nicely done and cozy. They look newly renovated. They have a gas fireplace, and rockers inside and out in your little porch area. The location is perfect. Your are in walking distance of main street and all it has to offer. The Staff (Caroline) was super sweet and helpful. She really goes out of her way for her patrons. The place has an area to get ice and has a soda machine. The front office is always open, and has coffee and cookies available. Parking may be a little tight for some, but is sufficient. It was a great stay! I would highly recommend staying here. Book directly is my suggestion.

Another fabulous long weekend! Thank you for making it easy to enjoy all that Blowing Rock has to offer! Bringing our dogs with us is always an added bonus. We always love staying at Homestead Inn. So convenient to everything downtown. We are looking forward to our next trip!
