Hotel Centrale

Stayed 4 nights at the hotel. Good stay at walking distance from the trainstation and very close to the city centre. Clean room, quiet and with all the comfort you need. It was just a pity, we had a room with only a roof window, so no view at all. Kindly people working there. Good breakfast buffet. To go from Bologna airport to the hotel or trainstation, it is better to take a taxi instead of the train, if you are with 2 persons or more. The price is about the same or even lower.

Fantastic stay at the separate apartment, just 20m from the main hotel. We were on the top floor - a lift takes you up two floors, then you take two more flights of stairs. Be mindful of this if you have large/heavy baggage. But a very pleasant stay. A shame we were only in town for one night! Easy walk to the Centre of town and main attractions.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Albergo Centrale Hotel during our recent visit to the lovely city of Bologna. We had stayed in this hotel on our last visit to the city in 2017 when it was called the Paradise. The hotel is perfectly situated in the the city centre only a few minutes walk for all the main attractions and a 10 minute walk from the railway station. Hotel is located on a quite side street. Our room was not large but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was an enjoyable buffet with both hot and cold items. Hotel personnel were all very efficient, friendly and helpful. In addition it is worth mentioning that after we had checked out we then went to Bologna airport to get our flight back home to Edinburgh only to find that the airport suddenly shut down due to a security scare and our incoming flight was diverted and our own return flight was cancelled - fortunately we got booked on a flight to Edinburgh from Pisa the next day so that meant we had to seek overnight accommodation in Bologna so we returned to the Albergo Centrale but, unfortunately, they were fully booked but the hotel reception telephoned other local hotels and, thankfully, found us accommodation - very kind of then to do so and much appreciated by us. Highly recommended.

I stayed one night at Albergo centrale bologna. Overally it met my expectations. - good location , plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. - polite and professional staff - basic but neat and clean room - clean bathroom -reasonable price.
