The Green House

Stayed for 4 nights while attending my daughters wedding, which was also held at The Green House Hotel. We booked the Huntington Elm room which is an accessible room and could not wish for anything better. The staff during my stay and during the wedding day made sure everything was perfect. The breakfast menu gave a good choice and the food was superb. Other reviews mentioned noise, the only noise I heard was of the other guests enjoying themselves in the same way I did. The bar area was great and the drinks of a good standard. Parking was never a problem and the hotel lift was a great extra as was the free WI-FI. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel when back in Bournemouth. Thanks again to all the wonderful Staff who made my weekend something I will never forget.

The staff here are friendly and nothing seems an effort for them, as they make you feel welcome throughout your stay. I was down in Bournemouth for a conference and had the Bon Jovi room. The room is clean, warm, with a good quality carpet and bedding to match. The breakfast is plentiful and of good quality. I shall be back soon, and hopefully ”Livin' on a Prayer” if I bag the Gregg Wallace room next time.

I've just come back from my sixth stay at this fantastic hotel. I can't speak more highly of it, which is why I always go back there. The staff are all amazing, always friendly, helpful & welcoming. From the reception team , the breakfast team and the team in the 1812 Bar, everyone does a great job. The new restaurant Oishii , which is part of the 1812 bar serves amazing food, I can't speak more highly of the team there, their service was incredible. The hotel is situated a short walk from the beach, the pier, the Oceanarium & the town, it's in a great location. There is also a car park which is also a bonus, though I think spaces are limited if the hotel is full. The rooms are very comfortable & well decorated. I love Bournemouth, which is why I go there every year, for me the Royal Exeter is the best place to stay, this year unfortunately, the weather wasn't as good as previous years. I've already booked for next year, I'm looking forward to going back. Once again, thank you to everyone at The Royal Exeter Hotel, you all do an amazing job.
No5 Durley Road - Contemporary Serviced Rooms and Suites - No Food Available

No5 Durley Road ticked all the boxes for us... something reasonably priced for a short weekend away, free parking and in close, walkable, proximity to the town center. Staff were all friendly and helpful and allowed us to park our car free of charge both prior to check-in and a few hours after checking out which was a great help. Rooms were clean and well equipped and had seemingly recently been refurbished. Perhaps its something they do not offer but we didn't have a room refresh during our stay, no big deal but thought it worth mentioning. There was a nice small garden area ta the front as well and we found the area to be fairly quiet both day and night. Would stay again
The Grove Hotel

Best hotel I've stayed in across the UK. It's not meant to be a 5 star I know but I'm not sure how much more the staff would need to do to get the 5 stars. They've been very decent with me and my Mrs where other hotels would have been looking for reasons to moan and more and they manage to treat us properly whilst keeping all the other guests happy too. Couldn't be happier
Hilton Bournemouth

We stay at the Hilton Bournemouth in September. We arrived at reception but there was no-one to help us unload the luggage from our car. I asked for the luggage trolley and when the reception realized that I was intent on using the trolley for my luggage, they immediately helped out. We booked a King Guest room, but we were upgraded to a King One Bedroom Suite with sea view. Reception took our luggage up to our room which was a nice touch. The room itself was very nice - there was a balcony with lovely sea views, a toilet, a large bathroom (with shower, toilet and bathtub) seating area and dining area. We stayed in a suite before (one the first floor), but this was much better. We had use of the small Executive Lounge which was nice because we could get soft drinks and coffee anytime. There is a happy hour 6-8pm serving wine, beer and snacks. I was impressed by the cheeseboard laid out every evening. Breakfasts were nice. There was a huge selection to choose from and they could cater to every need. The staff every morning was very welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. They were very nice people. My wife and mother-in-law had massages in the spa, and they loved them - very, very good service. I wish I had booked one myself. I only have some minor gripes; the minibar only contained two complimentary bottles of water. At night, we could hear the people in the room below us chatting. There was a strange pump sound coming from the bedroom door. These things are probably structural so there's no way of getting around them. Also, from our room we could hear the music from the nearby club, but it did not stop us from falling asleep. We bought our own drinks and the hotel barman was kind enough to give us glasses. I think the glassware could do with replacing because they looked very dull. Overall, another lovely stay at the hotel. The staff are very, very good - you can tell that they have been well trained. We look forward to our next stay at the hotel. It's a real gem. It's one of those hotels which makes so much sense.
