"Specifically came for the fireworks display, and the location was absolutely superb! We could enjoy the perfect fireworks show peacefully right from our balcony. It's very close to 7-Eleven, though parking is a bit of a walk."

"Overall, it was good, and the service was very patient. When we arrived at Atami Station, we called ahead and they immediately sent a car to pick us up, and also dropped us off at the station when we checked out. Actually, it's not far from Atami Station, but the many ups and downs and stairs make it inconvenient with luggage. They really wouldn't let us store our luggage; the front desk staff were all elderly and said they closed at 5 PM, so they were worried we wouldn't make it back in time. We ended up storing our luggage in a locker at Atami Station, which was also convenient. It's essentially a family-run guesthouse, and most of the service staff are elderly, so many unpleasant experiences might have been due to language barriers. I highly recommend the full Japanese-style meal; it's exquisite, delicious, and feels very ceremonial."
