Excellent
GGuest UserFor anyone visiting Xipo and looking to explore the local produce markets, I highly recommend this guesthouse. It's very close to Changbaishan West Station, but I personally think it's more suitable for those traveling by car, as Changbaishan itself is a mountainous area.
First, let's talk about the location. Driving to Songjianghe Grand Market, the morning market, and the local produce market takes less than ten minutes. This time, I didn't hike Changbai Mountain, so I'm not sure how far it is to the West Slope, but it felt very convenient. It's also about a 30-minute drive to Fusong County and the Wanliang Ginseng Market.
Now, for the environment. The rooms are ground-floor courtyards and small wooden cabins, very quiet and clean. Our room was right next to the linen room, and the staff kept it meticulously tidy. The common area in the courtyard is quite spacious, offering plenty of photo opportunities for those who enjoy taking pictures. The guesthouse also has a few friendly cats.
Here's the crucial part! If you can wake up early, you absolutely must try their breakfast. It's included with your stay. Songjianghe is actually a small town, and apart from a few breakfast stalls, there aren't many substantial places to eat breakfast. The hotel's breakfast is freshly made, not pre-prepared, and features authentic Northeastern specialties.

NnurelyaImpression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com.
Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area.
Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring.
Pros:
1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty.
2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money.
3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English.
4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes.
Cons:
1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids.
2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

GGuest UserThis place is worth going. It is very comfortable to take the children to play. It is recommended to stay for two more days. There are many activities and games. The resort is very careful and the food is good. A little reminder, the RV will have the sound of a generator. If you sleep lightly, don’t live in the room, it will be better to live in the room.

FFeitianluobo81The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for visiting the South Slope the next day. The room was clean and tidy, and we could easily access the hot springs downstairs. The hot spring water was clear and sparkling, very comfortable. Dining at the restaurant downstairs was also very convenient. The staff were friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

KKaikaidexiaohuyaOriginally a pleasant experience! Came back for one last ski trip before the season ended! Concierge Xiao Chen provided excellent service~ He proactively asked if I needed any assistance and checked on my stay experience, and all my requests were met~ What's interesting is that I had already reached the airport when I remembered I hadn't returned my ski pass. I asked the taxi driver to take me back, and Xiao Chen also helped me retrieve my ski equipment deposit. Northeasterners are truly kind!
