We booked 2 rooms via Accor ALL Family 50% off second room offer as we travelled as 2 adults and 2 kids. The rooms are small, but comfortable. The toilet/bathroom is small also but enough for us as we always go out for sightseeing. It is a standard Ibis build like all Ibises. As Gold member we were offered 4 welcome drinks vouchers + free breakfast for all of us. I was pleasantly surprised as normally only Platinum members get free breakfast. Location is convenient considering the price we paid for the rooms. It is close to the Bratislava Castle, and a few minutes walk to the Old Town. Will definitely stay there again.

This is truly a grand historical hotel almost on the scale of great hotels like the Plaza in New York and the Savoy in Paris, but for 1/10 the price. Great service and wonderful breakfast buffet. The best location with 95% of the restaurants and sights within a few blocks walking distance. If you can stay in the same rooms as Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms, Arthur Rubinstein, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Thomas Edison and Albert Einstein, why would you stay anywhere else in Bratislava.

The epitome of Boutique hotel. Great location, breakfast buffet is extensive & staff are really friendly, especially front desk staff. Not certain about 5 star though as there’s no swimming pool but there’s a lovely terrace on 2 floor - take stairs or the elevator. It’s an easy walk around the old town and close to the Danube River. Make sure to go to the UFO tower for a 360 view of Bratislava for €9.90. There’s also a standout 5-star international fine dining restaurant. Take the well worth it ‘Panorama Tour’ for €20 & 90 minutes - book via hotel desk. WARNING - TAXI - I caught a taxi from the train station to the hotel & was charged €24, including a €20 train to hotel charge which was a scam. DO NOT take taxi at the train station - it’s actually an easy 10min walk. My fare should have been €3-5. I hope the ‘friendly’ driver rots in … Certainly put a dampener on my trip

The new and modern hotel with very warm rooms (you will appreciate in the colder days) in walking distance from national bank and 20 min walk from main train station.hotel offers parking for good price (during weekend there is a option to park on the street for free) and breakfast for 10-15 Eur. Owing to a very busy schedule,I have been too many days delayed in writing this: absolutely the only negative comment I can make about the Falkensteiner is the inadequate bedding- two small single duvets are inappropriate for a double or king bed.A normal sheet ( there is no need for any form of quilt in summer) is required. Otherwise ,I cannot criticise- there was even an actual bath in the bathroom.The room was cool,quiet and well furnished.The coffee machine was adequate for making tea,and the fridge worked The location was ideal for a castle visit,and the old town was easily reached via an only slightly unpleasant underpass.

What a find! The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location for exploring Bratislava. The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful I've found anywhere and couldn't do more to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with something to suit everyone. Our room was spacious and comfortable with the only downside being that it wasn't air-conditioned and consequently was overly warm for our liking but this was a minor negative. Overall we and our friends had a lovely time here and this hotel would be our first choice if visiting Bratislava again

It is only 10 minutes walk from the train station to the hotel. The hotel is only 2 minutes walk to the presidential palace garden and more than 10 minutes walk to the main attractions of the old city, so staying in this hotel basically does not need transportation to get the whole sightseeing place to go. The decoration of the hotel room is very special, unlike other general hotels, I appreciate it. Minibar drinks, is included in the rent and no further payment is required. The hotel buffet breakfast is great. I would recommend this hotel to travelers who come to this city for sightseeing!

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the old town. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from a park, next to the Presidential Palace of Slovakia. The hotel breakfast is very good and very hearty. The hotel has a room that can sleep three people, one of which is a sofa bed. Parking is available in front of the hotel. Very satisfied, will come to live in the future.

Visiting Bratislava for first time. Wedding anniversary so asked if any chance by email of an upgrade. Generously gave us an upgrade to a suite. Mrs T mightily impressed with the room and facilities. Staff all friendly. Breakfast brilliant with lots of choice. Interestingly bread and butter pudding which we think used yesterday croissants and pain a chocs. Absolutely delicious. Had a small issue with the bath tap. Reported and fixed while at breakfast. Fab service. Location very central with bus and tram stops nearby and can walk to old town in 10 mins. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

The hotel is friendly and welcoming and well priced. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. We came for a long weekend in Bratislava and staff were helpful in choosing places to visit and advising on routes to get to destinations. The bar and restaurant are very good and the wine selection is excellent. It is a 20 minute walk to the old town but the hotel is near the bus station. There is a little road noise as the hotel is on a major route but it’s not intrusive and overall it’s a quiet place to stay. Very good.

My boyfriend & I stayed here for 2 nights during our inter-railing trip. Upon arrival we were given 2 drink vouchers to enjoy at the bar which was very generous. Furthermore, the staff at reception went above and beyond for us. When we got to the next city as part of our trip I realised I had left something in the hotel which was of sentimental value to me. I emailed the hotel & Maros replied within 24 hours to let me know that they could post my item home that I had left behind. The kindness & willingness of the staff to provide this level of customer service was something I was very grateful for & something that has been somewhat lost to an extent in this modern age. Not only this, the hotel itself is lovely & the rooms are extremely spacious which suited us as we had a lot of luggage. Would definitely recommend a stay here whilst in Bratislava!
