The hotel room wasn't very spacious, but its proximity to the airport was a huge plus. It's just a ten-minute drive away. The hotel offers a shuttle bus, but make sure to book in advance, as it can get fully booked. There are also many restaurants nearby, making the location excellent. With the SkyTrain and various bus routes close by, it's a very convenient hotel. They offer breakfast; although the selection isn't huge, it's enough to fill you up, and there's free-flowing coffee and hot chocolate, which is a nice touch. The rooms also come with a microwave, so you can bring food back to eat. Overall, it's a good hotel.

We stayed one night in the Icon room. The room was spacious although it was not the largest in the hotel. Modern decor and furniture placement were very special. My bathroom only had a shower but it was spacious with overhead showerhead. We caught the complimentary shuttle from the hotel and the driver was friendly. We did not had breakfast. The price was very high for the night I was staying. The surroundings are mainly parking lots and some industrial areas though.

The shuttle bus was convenient, running every half hour until 1 AM. Breakfast was quite good for a Canadian hotel, with a relatively wide variety of options. The scrambled eggs with vegetables were particularly delicious. The air conditioning in the room was a bit old and noisy, but luckily, you could manually adjust the fan speed, which was better than another hotel I stayed at since it didn't get too loud in the middle of the night and disturb my sleep.

Unfortunately due to a medical emergency I was unable to make the trip from UK to Canada - I had to cancel flights, other hotels, car hire and excursions. I submitted medical documents and have been refunded for everything else even though these were ‘non flexible’ and ‘non refundable’. The Hampton Inn by Hilton Vancouver Airport/Richmond was the only booking not to consider a refund or even a credit note, even though medical document was submitted more than 48 hrs prior to check in time. This was the continued response from Trip.com: Your booking at Hampton Inn by Hilton Vancouver-Airport/Richmond cannot be cancelled free of charge. We have submitted a free cancellation request to the hotel on your behalf. Unfortunately, we have not received a timely response from the hotel, and your booking will remain as originally confirmed.

The place is amazingly close in everything. The room maintainly clean daily. The amenities are the pool and gym as I remember. The service are good as they accomodate anything you need especially if you need the basic things like toothbrush, toothpaste or microwave, you need to ask. I want to mention the window is not children friendly, i think it was so dangerous to open the window, there's no net and no free parking.

This hotel. has a scam. They will add (up to $100 in my case) if you arrive tired before 10am, and refuse to check you in until 3pm. So they simply pocket the $100. I noticed that do not play this trick on regular guests who come just after we did. So they simply pocket the additional charges. Essentially, they want to charge a full day's rate for a half day rental. How can Bookings .com continue to advertise the false rates

Facilities: The hotel is generally spacious, bright, and comfortable. Cleanliness: Especially clean and tidy. Environment: The environment is quite good; we got a room with a view of the street outside. Service: The front desk staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, and gave us various directions.

I liked the hotel. Large parking, nice pool and jacuzzi, great breakfast. The room is clean and quiet. But! The $150 deposit for the room was not returned. I've been waiting three weeks for my return!

Stayed for a layover, and it truly felt like a hotel from the last century. The air conditioning was incredibly noisy, and the room had a musty smell. While many hotels in North America are generally run down, this one really can't compare to what you find back home.
