Guest UserThe most satisfying one night stay in the whole May Day trip. It’s really like returning home. Even if we arrived at the inn very late, the uncle was still very enthusiastic and happy to carry our luggage for us. I got up very late in the morning and the aunt also cooked us a bowl of hot rice noodles. It was a very warm trip. It’s right to set here, let alone how much basic hygiene, bedding, etc. are particularly good. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the inn during the day. The mountain view room can see some sunrise clouds and terraces in the morning. This price is invincible. I recommend everyone to set it.

Very comfortable roadside inn, newly opened this year, very clean everywhere, affordable, maybe because of the off-season, the whole Jiabang terraces are quieter, living in the mountains feels fresh and calm

The boss’s family is a local villager. It is very good to talk and be kind. I come to play alone. I can order food with the boss in advance. The ingredients are all grown by the boss. The taste is also good. The enthusiastic boss also sent me a soup. I had a long time with the boss when I was eating. I really like this process of in-depth understanding of local humanities. After eating, I sit on the chair at the door and blow the hair. It is very cool.

The location is close to the No. 2 terraces, because on the side of the road, you can get on the sightseeing bus with beckoning, and you can catch the first sightseeing bus to watch the sunrise. I am lucky to meet the sea of clouds and watch the clouds go up the hillside. It is very beautiful.

Guest UserThe hotel is truly wonderful. The design is so well done, especially the bedrooms.
Breakfast was great.
The new place they have with a restaurant is not as nice as the hotel, and for foreigners the team could improve the service a little bit since we couldn't have any lucky with the hiking trails and the daily tour included.
However, they were really helpful for dinner and other stuff.

Let's talk about the location of the hotel first. It's right next to the No. 3 Observation Deck. You can overlook the No. 3 Observation Deck from the hotel. Let's talk about the scenery. It's worth coming here. The terraces are green in this season. It just rained when I went there. The air is very fresh. The terraces and trees have just been bathed. They are very green. Let's talk about the hotel environment and facilities. There are many local specialties on the menu of the restaurant on the first floor, which can meet the needs of tasting local food. The boss, Sister Hu, said that the vegetables are all local and pure green, and they are delicious. The decoration of the hotel is very interesting, the layout is warm, and there are ornaments on the doors. It's not gorgeous or vulgar (it's also possible to see the beautiful scenery and feel good to see everything. Hehehe). The front desk and service staff: very friendly and considerate. The one who impressed me the most was Sister Hu. As a j person, I don't make plans and go wherever I go. I choose to come to Canada just to get extra pounds. I didn't think about where to go later. I talked to Sister Hu while eating. She helped me plan it and recommended me to go to Xiayao. The drive is just over 40 minutes. There is a Chinese wine on the tip of the tongue. It tastes very good. Thank you Sister Hu for the recommendation. By the way, let me say Jiapian, the scenery is beautiful and the facilities are very complete. It should be more beautiful in July and August when the terraces turn yellow. I look forward to coming again then 😁 I heard that the No. 3 platform is the sunrise viewing platform. I will come here again when the time comes. It would be amazing if I could see the sun rising from the golden terraces in the room in the morning. (A few photos with camera and aerial photography)

I took my kids on a trip during the summer vacation. It took me 2 hours to go from Libo on the winding mountain road. I encountered two heavy rains in the middle. I was hesitant because I was afraid that the road would be difficult to walk and the scenic area would not be fun. However, it turned out that my persistence was worth it. The boss lady was very nice and upgraded our room for free. We could see the terraced fields by opening the curtains. The room was clean and hygienic. The staff would greet us with a smile when they saw us. When we came back at night, the dog would escort us all the way. In the morning, I sat in front of the window to eat breakfast, appreciate the terraced fields, and feel the breeze. I hope time can pass slower and slower! It is worth mentioning that the food in the homestay is also very good. The minced meat and eggplant are delicious, the loofah and egg soup is very delicious, and the dried bamboo shoots are fried with bacon, etc. It was so good. When I left, the boss lady sent me to the door again. She was really as kind as family. I look forward to seeing you again.

BaoziyizhizailvtuFacilities: A family of three with small 🐶, a family room, a large TV, free water and drinks in the small refrigerator, tea bags and coffee bags, dry and wet separation, smart toilet, small voice intelligence, etc.
Hygienic: Hygiene is clean and tidy, the bedding is quite comfortable, and the toiletries are clean.
Environment: Just next to the food street, there is an exclusive parking space. It is very close to the Drum Tower Square, more than 900 meters walk, and you can go shopping in the morning. At night, I asked my brother, the recommended Hongmian restaurant next to it, the sour soup beef is so delicious!
Service: Key evaluation, front desk customer service, security brother, cleaning aunt and breakfast aunt are very enthusiastic, take the initiative to say hello, the Yi sister customer service smiles so sweet, professional and patient! ! ! There are also self-service small objects: earplugs, eye masks, floss care package brown sugar ginger tea head rope, etc., especially humanized.
Beautiful gift: a small fan is very cute.
Yuecha: There is tea next to the front desk that can be used by yourself. The little girl sees us sitting in the lobby and resting, and also takes the initiative to pour tea, 🥰

Transportation: Very convenient. The guesthouse is located at a higher point, near the sixth viewing platform of the terraced fields scenic area, easily accessible by sightseeing bus. As it's the final stop on the uphill route, you can directly catch the downhill shuttle bus, avoiding the situation where the bus is full at previous stops.
Environment: The guesthouse is bright, spacious, clean, and hygienic.
The owners are very attentive, even providing disposable towels and toilet seats in the rooms for guests with higher hygiene standards.
Service: The owners are very welcoming. There's a dining area on the first floor. You can order some home-style dishes, all very delicious. The chicken used for the chicken soup is freshly killed, taking a little longer but resulting in exceptionally fresh flavor. You can leave your luggage at the guesthouse while sightseeing during the day, and if you get tired after walking to other viewing platforms, you can contact the owners to have your luggage brought back.
Food: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available. The owners cook their own food, with simple home-style seasonings, and the spiciness can be adjusted. The main appeal is the freshness of the ingredients. The chicken soup is a must-order; the cabbage is incredibly flavorful. The stir-fried beef with celery is a generous portion that will fill you up, and the celery is even tastier than the beef. Breakfast includes rice noodles, corn, and sweet potatoes. The prices are reasonable and fair; they don't overcharge just because it's in a tourist area.
Other: The owners are a warm and welcoming family. You can even watch the young owner pet his tabby cat – a truly pleasant experience.

Our stay began with a slight hiccup regarding the room type, but the owner, a pleasant young man, sincerely resolved it. Among accommodations in Jiabang, this guesthouse stands out for its pleasant environment. It's clean, and the rooms are spacious. For Jiache Village, the facilities are quite decent, and the location is excellent, conveniently situated on the road to Observation Deck #6.
However, there were a few downsides. First, for guests staying multiple nights, daily room cleaning and replenishment of disposable toiletries are not standard. We noticed our room hadn't been serviced on the afternoon of our second day and had to request items from the owner. Second, our room was unfortunately situated directly above the kitchen's exhaust vent. During meal preparation, cooking fumes would waft into the room, making it impossible to open the windows. It was quite frustrating to keep them closed in such a fresh-air environment. Third, being a mountainous region, there's quite a bit of wildlife, so guests should be cautious. On our last morning, venturing out early around 6 AM, we encountered a small snake—about finger-thick and 30-40cm long—crawling near the first-floor staircase. Thankfully, my husband, who was ahead, didn't step on it, and we quickly walked around. This was the fifth snake we'd seen in our two weeks in Guizhou, but the others were unfortunately roadkill; this one was alive. While I understand this might be common in mountainous regions, guesthouses should ideally have measures in place to handle such encounters to prevent alarming guests.
It's not easy for a young entrepreneur to run a guesthouse, and I hope its operations become more streamlined, eventually becoming a top accommodation choice for visitors. 🐵

The room was on the third floor with a beautiful view. Sitting by the window drinking tea was very pleasant. The guesthouse is right by the main road, very close to Viewpoint No. 1, just a 3-minute walk, which is very convenient. The only downside is that the stairs are too narrow, making going up and down a bit inconvenient. However, there's a terrace downstairs where you can sit and watch the clouds rise and see the sunrise in the morning. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the squat toilet wasn't quite what I was used to!
