Jianshui Hotels with Free Breakfast

I booked Fanqi B&B after reading online reviews. On the morning of the day I submitted the order, I received a call from the store telling me about the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night and found that the small front door was a different world from the inside. The four-entry courtyard has a history of a hundred years. The store owner was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room and introduced the historical story of the courtyard. He also provided us with scenic spots and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom were also very clean, the hot water temperature was very high, the breakfast was very rich and provided according to our requirements. The B&B also provided free Hanfu for us to take photos and barbecue around the stove. Traveling off-peak, there are not many tourists. We found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey

I have always been a bit hesitant to book this kind of old house B&B, fearing poor soundproofing, fear of noise, and fear of small rooms, but Zhuye Xuan completely subverted my concept. It is delicious, delicious, and comfortable to live in. Living here is cultural. First, the location is excellent, right across from the tourist train station, so you don't have to worry about catching the train in the morning. The owner can also help you buy train tickets. Second, the facilities are complete and everything you need is provided, and the place is clean. Third, the owner is very welcoming and offers pick-up/drop-off service from the station. They also provide breakfast, and even if it's past lunchtime and they're out of food, the owner will give you a ticket to eat at the restaurant next door (the beef rice noodles there are quite delicious, with a rich broth)... Overall, it's very good, great value for money, highly recommended.

I'm a lazy person who rarely writes reviews, but this time I was deeply moved by the owner and his family. Even the cleaning lady was so friendly and lovely. It truly revitalized my solo trip to Jianshui. The hotel is perfectly located, away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the train station and the ancient city—just over a hundred meters away. There are many traditional rice noodle shops just outside the door, so you can leisurely fill your stomach before heading out to explore. When I was going to and from the station, the owner drove a tricycle to the intersection to pick me up, worried about the inconvenience of lugging my luggage, even though it was only a few steps away. In the morning, when they saw me in the room, they asked if I wanted breakfast (my reservation didn't include it). I had already eaten, but the owner insisted on giving me an egg for protein and a box of brown sugar before I left. The ladies said they'd come back next year, and I replied, ”I'll be back in two months!” ❤️ I'm from the north, and this family is so gentle and polite. The entire inn is elegant and grand. The two-story courtyard is surrounded by bougainvillea, where you can swing on the swings, watch the moon, drink tea, and chat—it's so relaxing. The interior is on par with a four-star hotel in the city, with separate wet and dry areas, disposable towels, and brand-new hard and soft furnishings. The air is also very airy. I don't like old, dingy hotels, so this truly felt like home! Thank you again to the owner for his thoughtful hospitality. He booked me a train ticket in the middle of the night, provided me with food, drinks, and hairbands, and offered travel advice along the way. Please keep driving! I'll be back with friends. This hotel, which just opened last year, features an all-wood interior design, giving it a classic, antique feel similar to an old mansion. It's three stories high with a limited number of rooms. Personally, I found the indoor lighting a bit dim; perhaps that's just because I prefer bright rooms. The hotel is located at the end of a municipal road, surrounded by local residential houses, so the visual surroundings are just okay. However, it does have an underground parking lot, which is very convenient. The rooms are clean, hygienic, and comfortable, with luxurious and well-thought-out decor. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's definitely sufficient, offering local specialties like extra-large bowls of rice noodles, along with milk, coffee, fruit, and yogurt. The restaurant service was quite good.

I couldn't book the same room type for two consecutive nights, so I had to book different room types for each night. The difference between the 'pool view' room and the 'Xiang Tang' room is that one has an openable window and the other doesn't. I stayed in the pool view room on the first night and it wasn't noisy at all. However, my experience in the 'Xiang Tang' room on the second night wasn't as good. The restaurant is right downstairs, and even at 10 or almost 11 PM, there were still children making noise on the platform. Closing the window helped a bit. The cleanliness wasn't great either; there were a lot of hairs on the bathroom floor. I hope they pay more attention to this. Everything else was pretty good. At least I didn't experience any power outages or room maintenance issues. They also provide toiletries for children.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The design is minimalist yet grand, completely avoiding that old-fashioned feel. It’s very aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to stay in. From the moment you step into the lobby, you're greeted with a refreshing, clean, and well-organized space, showing the hotel's dedication to hygiene. While the in-room amenities might not be the most luxurious, they are certainly not outdated; everything is well-maintained and in perfect order. What impressed me most was the dry-wet separation in the bathroom – it's incredibly practical. Showering and washing up can happen simultaneously without interference, keeping the space dry. It's a really thoughtful touch. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend it!

Location: Conveniently located near Chaoyang Gate, making it easy to get to the small train station and the ancient city – perfect for a city walk. Ambiance: The hotel boasts pavilions, terraces, and carps swimming happily, with a strong ancient aesthetic that's incredibly photogenic. They even offer free traditional costume rentals! The public areas feature free water dispensers, a laundry room, the Orchid Pavilion tea room, fitness facilities, and complimentary massage chairs 👍. Room: The rooms are very spacious with comfortable bedding, and the hot water is excellent. We even got a room upgrade during the off-peak season! Service: The staff are all incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, making you feel completely at home. Overall, highly recommended!

This guesthouse is super convenient; taxis can drop you right at the entrance, which shows the owner really thought about the perfect location. The guesthouse has three floors, and each level's common area is thoughtfully decorated with lots of succulents, making it very pleasant to look at. The room facilities are standard, but the air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, making it quite chilly at night. A pottery throwing experience was included with the stay. Although there wasn't much guidance, it was fun to just go with the flow and added a nice touch to the trip.

I discovered a hidden gem of a new hotel in Jianshui! It's newly opened and there's absolutely no renovation smell. The lobby and public areas are elegantly designed, the rooms are spacious and bright, and all the facilities are brand new, including a smart toilet and high-speed Wi-Fi. The cleanliness is impeccable; there's no dust in the corners, the bedding is spotless, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet area, making it incredibly dry. There's ample free parking, making parking a breeze if you're driving. The rooms are excellently soundproofed, so it's quiet enough to sleep soundly through the night. The front desk staff are very friendly and quick with check-in and check-out. They even proactively shared Jianshui travel tips and upgraded me to a twin room with a projector. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Jianshui, and I've already recommended it to my friends!
