Kaifeng Hotels with Free Breakfast

This is a new hotel, and the facilities are excellent. The room, bedding, and bathroom are all high-end. They even provide body lotion, conditioner, a scale, and a fantastic hairdryer (like a Dyson!). There's a 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival' souvenir, and upon check-in, we received snacks (yogurt and waffles 🧇). The breakfast spread is extensive, and the restaurant is spacious. The shower pressure is really strong. To get to attractions, you'll need to take a taxi or ride an electric bike, as they're about 5-6 kilometers away. It's closest to the Duanmen Gate of Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, so transportation is quite convenient. The area right outside the hotel is a bit chaotic, but there are plenty of dining options nearby. My only suggestion would be to offer freshly ground coffee; that would truly match the hotel's caliber.

The hotel overall is sleek and spacious, with a well-designed layout that feels uncluttered. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring a sound and comfortable night's sleep with good ventilation. The value for money far exceeded my expectations; it's clean, tidy, and the service is excellent. It's perfectly suited for short trips.

The luckiest thing about traveling to Kaifeng is that I chose this homestay! The location is simply amazing. It takes only 3 minutes to walk to the Qingming Riverside Park. In the morning, you can easily catch the first wave of admission to avoid the crowds. In the evening, after watching the performance of ”The Great Song Dynasty: Tokyo Dreams”, you can take a walk back to the room to rest. The room is clean and warm, the layout is full of Song Dynasty elements, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it is super safe to live in. The boss is warm and considerate, and also recommended super authentic food shops around. The cost-effectiveness is super high, I will stay here next time I come to Kaifeng!

After a long search, I chose this hotel and was delighted to find its location absolutely superb. The room facilities were clean, modern, and exactly as pictured. It was less than a two-minute walk to the Yingbin Gate of Shangqing Garden. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right by the riverbank, and the evening views are especially beautiful. After a tiring afternoon exploring the garden, we could relax in the small courtyard and enjoy the scenery. Since we arrived quite late, the owner personally helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly welcoming. He also gave us recommendations for places to eat. Our first night was on the second floor, where we enjoyed the view from the balcony. Due to high demand, we extended our stay and moved to a ground-floor room with a small courtyard for the second night. Both rooms had their own unique charm. I rarely leave reviews, but I truly felt the owner's dedication to running this place, so I wanted to show my support.

The hotel's location is great, right next to Gulou Night Market, and from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, you can see Daxiangguo Temple. It's also not far from Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, about 2-3 kilometers, and a taxi ride costs less than 10 RMB. The room is exceptionally spacious and very clean, with complete facilities including a smart toilet, Tmall Genie (smart speaker), massage chair, bathtub, and a large projector. The hotel even provides bathtub liners, bubble bath liquid, foot soaking tubs, and heated eye masks. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can come back to the room, get a massage, take a bath, or soak your feet to relax. During the day, the lobby offers watermelon and small snacks, and in the evening, there are cocktails and late-night supper. The service is very warm and welcoming; whether it's the front desk staff or the cleaning aunties, everyone is always smiling and ready to help. I'm very satisfied with this trip!

Facilities: Very complete and convenient. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Surrounded by local eateries, and it's just a 3-minute walk to Wansui Mountain. Service: First-class. It was my first stay, and the front desk staff patiently and thoroughly explained the hotel. The breakfast was also excellent, featuring local specialties.

The room is very regional and very clean. When traveling with children, you should choose a hotel with a clean and hygienic environment. The children were very excited and loved it. The service was also very good. The lady at the front desk was very gentle. The location is also very convenient, very close to the scenic spots. Breakfast is very rich and tastes good 👍

Hotel location is good (very close to the high-speed rail station, 200 meters in front is the museum and the main road to and from Zhengzhou and Kaifeng Zhengkai Avenue). The hotel is fully equipped and very new. The setting in the lobby and guest rooms on the first floor is thoughtful and intimate. The service of the staff is also very good, making people feel at home. Self-driving parking is free. Booked family room, the room is very large and spacious, the decoration is very warm and chic, there are two beds, the bed is very wide is 1.5 meters wide. In short, if you come to Kaifeng again, you will book again.

All our out-of-town guests for the wedding stayed at Kyriad, and everyone gave excellent feedback. It's a quiet oasis in a bustling area, with views of historical buildings. The convenient parking and EV charging were mentioned multiple times, and the room service was very attentive, which saved us a lot of hassle. This is definitely a reliable, high-quality hotel in Kaifeng.

Overall: Excellent, my top choice for future stays in Kaifeng. Pros: To be specific, the environment and facilities absolutely blow other Kaifeng hotels out of the water. The design is very strong without sacrificing practicality. The suite's internal layout is quite reasonable. Breakfast felt pretty good, especially the dining environment. The high ceilings in the room were very comfortable, giving a sense of space, and the decor details were very high-end. Cons: The living room and bedroom in the suite face a low shrub wall, but there's also a path outside where people can walk, so privacy is a bit of an issue. If you don't close the curtains and someone happens to walk by, you're like a fish in a fishbowl. The welcome dessert platter was exquisite, but not tasty, and it was left in the room from check-in until check-out without being removed. The sliding closet door wouldn't close completely and would slowly slide open on its own (a bit eerie at night). There were also some hygiene issues, but I've already provided feedback to the hotel, and I'm confident they will improve. Despite a few issues, the hotel's environment, location, facilities, and service attitude are all superb. There's no reason for me not to choose it again. One of the hotel's entrances is right at the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, and the other is at the Wansui Mountain entrance. Those visiting Kaifeng should definitely give it a try; I don't think you'll find a better option.
