Seriously can't recommend this hotel enough! The environment is great, very clean, and the breakfast is fantastic, especially the beef noodles – generous portions and delicious. The hotel's location is also superb, making it easy to get anywhere. I really have to highlight the hotel's service; it was absolutely wonderful. They truly made us feel at home. (And no, I'm not a shill! This is my absolutely honest review!!)

This hidden gem of a guesthouse deserves a perfect five-star rating! The location is absolutely fantastic; open the window and you're greeted by endless rolling hills. The environment is wonderfully tranquil and serene, a complete escape from the city's hustle and bustle – it's incredibly therapeutic. The Instagrammable spots in the courtyard are truly delightful. The pink heart installation is perfect for photos, and combined with the whimsical decor and local-themed ornaments, every shot turns out to be stunning and atmospheric. It's great for both couples and friends to enjoy. The courtyard's greenery is lush and well-maintained, the anti-corrosion wood pathways are clean and tidy, and the lounge areas are soft and comfortable. After exploring, sitting down to enjoy the breeze and the mountain and water views is incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation!

Firstly, the location is excellent; it's just a few minutes' walk to the East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the hygiene is good. We received a special welcome fruit platter, and the room had a tea set with ample tea and water. Since we stayed multiple nights, they even provided high-speed rail transfer service, and the complimentary tickets to Yaoshan Ancient Village plus the sightseeing bus were a nice bonus. A special shout-out to the front desk staff, who were warm, attentive, and always willing to help. The hotel's common areas are uniquely designed, and snacks are always available. Highly recommended!

This time I came to Maolan Forest to play, and the homestay I booked completely exceeded expectations. It was definitely a surprise choice for this trip! First of all, the sanitary condition is particularly reassuring. The room is spotless, and the towels and toiletries are neatly arranged. It can be seen that the cleaning is very careful. It is really rare to be so clean in the mountains. The boss is very enthusiastic and really started to help me ask about carpooling and arrange the itinerary before I arrived. You can also eat freshly made farmhouse meals, and the taste is authentic. The boss will also arrange pick-up and drop-off when going to the attractions, and will also ask to drink local wine when eating. The most important thing is that the price is really affordable. This price can live in such a clean, service-friendly room in the scenic spot, and the price/performance ratio is directly full. The location is also convenient, not far from Qinglongtan and Wuyan Bridge, you can walk to the hiking entrance in a few minutes. Next time I come to Maolan, I will definitely stay here, I really recommend it to friends who come to play!

What a wonderfully warm and heartfelt stay. I originally booked the cheaper room on the 4th floor, but the lady boss noticed that I wasn’t feeling well and gently suggested I upgrade to a room on the 2nd floor so I wouldn’t have to climb the stairs. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and she even helped carry my luggage to the room to make sure I settled in comfortably. The view from the room was nothing short of a million-dollar panorama. When night fell and the Rain & Wind Bridge lit up, the entire scene became magical — truly a view that money can’t buy. But what touched me most came later: a soft knock on my door early next morning, and there she was, holding a bowl of warm white rice porridge with pickled vegetables, prepared specially for me because she knew I was sick and wished for my speedy recovery. That simple gesture went straight to my heart — genuine warmth that touches the soul. And her kindness didn’t end there. On the day of my departure, she made sure her husband personally drove me to the HSR station for my long journey to Chengdu. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is a home that greets you with kindness, sincerity, and warmth — a true home away from home.

🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!

The room was quite spacious, and it's about a 10-minute drive from the East Gate. The owner offers a shuttle service to the East Gate of the scenic area, which was great as it kept us away from the noise and cooking smells. The air quality was also much better, and the room itself was very large. In the evening, they offered a complimentary herbal foot bath, which really helped relieve the fatigue from a day of sightseeing.

The room was nice. Service: Very good, they even helped prepare simple food for my child, which was very convenient when traveling with kids. Environment: Excellent. The housekeeper was great, they upgraded us to a family room for free. They also helped with our luggage and were quick to respond to any issues. There are toys like water guns available for kids to borrow and play with at Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. They also have a dryer and laundry room. Breakfast was light and tasty. My child loved the wooden rocking horse. There's also chess, a tea room, and a guqin or guzheng (I'm not sure which, but it was nice). The light wood decor gives a very comfortable feel.

Our first stop on our Chinese New Year trip to Guizhou. The guesthouse was clean and hygienic, with free sugar oranges in the lobby. There's a charming little garden outside where my child loved playing on the swing. Our room was tidy and came with a smart toilet. On New Year's Eve, we could see fireworks filling the sky from our room, though my child had already fallen asleep. The owner helped us with our luggage, and his mother even made us minced pork noodles for breakfast. The first driver we met in Guizhou was very friendly, our first B&B was spotless, and our first meal was amazing. It was a wonderful start to our trip. Libo, we'll definitely come back if we get the chance!

Facilities: It seems many guesthouses here don't have elevators, but this one does, so no need to carry heavy luggage up stairs, which is great! 😁😁 The smart toilet was also a pleasant surprise. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy, extremely satisfied. Environment: There's a small courtyard with a beautiful bougainvillea archway. Lots of stars at night, and the windows offer views of distant mountains and water—a truly picturesque scene. Service: The park was closed for the past two days, but the owner called us in advance to let us know, and we still came as planned. Since many shops were closed and we couldn't find anything to eat, the owner personally cooked noodles for us—super delicious! We loved it! We also got to enjoy some tea from the owner 😏 The owner even upgraded our room for free! We didn't see the Big and Small Seven Arches this time, but we'll definitely come back next time and stay here again!
