GGuest UserThis hotel in Mengla is a real hidden gem! The location is fantastic, and I love the minimalist yet stylish decor. It's fully equipped with smart facilities, and everything is super clean. Even the toiletries are from premium brands – they really pay attention to the details. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I was drawn to the beautiful tea room. Before I even checked in, the owner warmly invited us to have some tea. The owner is incredibly kind; while we were drinking tea, they gave us recommendations for local food, where to go, and how to get around. They were so enthusiastic and thoughtful throughout. Staying at this hotel in Mengla is absolutely worth it, and I've already been raving about it to all my friends!

MM247991****This was probably the biggest surprise of our Yunnan trip – we stumbled upon this village by accident. For city dwellers like us, it felt like a paradise. From an extremely impoverished village to one where everyone has an income, the villagers said it was Professor Li Xiaoyun's team (I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling) who helped the village generate tourism revenue. We booked a three-bedroom room for 1730 yuan a night. It was the second day of the ***** New Year, so that's understandable, but seeing in the reviews that it was a poverty alleviation project, we immediately placed the order. Since we were going to book a guesthouse anyway, it wouldn't hurt to do something good. Driving from the Wangtianshu Scenic Area, there's only one road into the village, and the winding roads scared me half to death! Definitely check in during the day! The one-way street makes passing difficult, especially since we were in a campervan. When we arrived, we were truly shocked. It was a village with only one small shop. To be honest, that might not be accurate; there were no restaurants, no milk tea shops, no convenience stores, no coffee shops – absolutely no commercial establishments. Honestly, I was a little shocked because I didn't expect such a pristine, authentic village. Each guest room was in a different family's home. The village has over 60 households and more than 200 people. You can pay the family you're staying at to have their meals prepared, using vegetables they grow themselves and pigs and chickens they raise themselves. I haven't written this review yet because I really wanted to sit down and write a proper review. If my initial impression of the village was surprise, astonishment, and a little regret, then afterwards it was pure joy, delight, and regret for arriving too late. In the evening, I watched the village girls dancing on the basketball court. The owner of the house I stayed at, Brother Deng, was born in 1984. My husband and father ate and drank with him, and he even took my father and husband to visit other villagers. Everyone in the village was simple, honest, and warm-hearted. Although I couldn't understand their dialect, I could feel everyone's kindness and welcome. Even though the rooms weren't very soundproof—after all, it's a wooden village, part of the Yao culture—it was very clean. You could tell they were putting effort into making this a good tourist destination. I hope Hebian Village continues to thrive. See you next time! If you're willing to put down your phone and experience nature, to escape the city and enjoy a day of simplicity, believe me, it's worth the trip, unforgettable, and truly a return to nature. This special trip perfectly embodies that feeling.

MM14225****I chose this one because unlike other homes, it is a modern room design, but the design of teak, very beautiful, the room is large, and the hygiene is cleaner than the average hotel. Hotel location is very good, located in the new district, nearby are all beautiful single-family buildings, there are several hotels, there are few people and cars, very quiet. Behind the hotel is the Nanla River. In the evening, you can take a walk along the river and walk to the Star Night Market. The hotel went out and turned left. It took about ten minutes to walk along the road. There was a rice noodle shop that was very delicious for many years. It is very convenient to take a taxi to other places for ten yuan.
The hotel staff are also very good, warm and friendly. In short, stayed for three nights very comfortable and very recommended.

GGuest UserThis hotel was amazing. It’s only a year old but the amenities look like it’s brand new and inside of the room seems no different from a five-star. The only thing missing was a bathroom scale. Nice courtyard pool below just big enough to do some short laps and a kilometer from the night market. Interesting little area and they have street side eatery outside with a good view. The best part though is the manager Mr. Wu was exceptionally helpful. When he saw me arriving by bicycle, he did everything he could to make my stay more pleasant and even offered to go the extra mile with extra service and help. An unbelievable bargain, and a nice end to my journey.

AAnonymous UserFacilities: The hotel was built a while ago, so the facilities are a bit old. However, most things work well, except for the hairdryer. Nowadays, brushless motor hairdryers are standard and even affordable from domestic brands like Laifen. The old-fashioned hairdryer was really inconvenient due to its weak airflow; I recommend replacing it.
Hygiene: It's clean, and housekeeping is quick. Every evening, staff come to draw the curtains, empty the trash, and place white towels and slippers by the bed – a nice touch of ritual and detail.
Environment: The views are incredible. The hotel itself is a rainforest. If you visit the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden without a guide and just look around, you'll find that much of what you see there is already within the hotel grounds.
Service: Excellent, with prompt responses. A quick call for the shuttle bus brings it right away. Every staff member I encountered greeted me with a warm smile. The spa treatment was very comfortable. The travel photography session was also great; the photographer guided us throughout, making it easy even for those who don't often pose for photos.
The breakfast quality isn't great, and the variety is limited, which feels a bit below the hotel's standard. For this family trip, we stayed 6 nights at Naga in Gaozhuang and 2 nights at Anantara. Anantara's breakfast wasn't even as good as Naga's. We had dinner at Anantara one evening, and the price was unexpectedly high, but the taste wasn't particularly amazing. You can find good, affordable food at restaurants about 100 meters from the hotel entrance.
Overall, the hotel is definitely worth experiencing at least once; it has a beautiful and quiet environment.

RrightearI went there around the Spring Festival, planning to visit Wangtianshu Temple and then take the high-speed rail to Kunming. This hotel was surprisingly the best I'd booked on this trip. The location was also great. The room was very modern. There were plenty of things to do nearby. There was free drop-off at the station, and the staff helped me call a Didi taxi, which was quite convenient.

DDengxuemanFirst off, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect; it's just a 5-6 minute walk from the North Gate.
Next, the front desk service was exceptional. Upon our arrival, the hotel owner personally helped us with our luggage, and the front desk staff were very professional. The check-in process was smooth and seamless.
The breakfast was quite good too. For a hotel located near the botanical garden, it offered a surprisingly substantial spread.
Finally, we mistakenly booked a room without a window. When we inquired about switching rooms, the hotel generously offered us a complimentary upgrade.
Overall, if you're planning a trip to the botanical garden and intend to stay overnight, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

JjiazufengMy stay here was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, truly like sleeping on a cloud. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in was swift, and they even thoughtfully recommended some great local eateries. The location is also superb, making it very convenient for getting around. I'll definitely be choosing this place again!
The ambiance was elegant, the room decor felt very cozy, and all the facilities were top-notch. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety to satisfy all tastes. Overall, it was excellent value for money.
