Ordos Hotels with Free Breakfast

I spent the weekend with family and friends visiting the Desert Herdsman Homestay, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended! The courtyard landscaping is very tasteful, with an exquisite and elegant Chinese-style welcoming pine tree. Sitting in the private courtyard, enjoying tea and conversation is incredibly relaxing. The outdoor barbecue area is well-planned, with tables suitable for small gatherings, a large canopy with a rainproof roof for team building meals, and a full range of commercial grills, making it convenient for self-service grilling skewers and roasting whole lamb. The elevated camping platform under the trees offers shade from the native forest, decorated with Mongolian patterns that add a local touch, creating a fantastic tent camping atmosphere. The owner cleverly uses the well house as a popular photo spot, with auspicious text and koi fish decorations, resulting in excellent photos. Nestled in the countryside, backed by cornfields and protective forests, the environment is quiet and free from urban noise, with low light pollution at night, allowing for clear stargazing. The venue is well-maintained, with gravel paving and hardened floors that are both aesthetically pleasing and fireproof and drainage-resistant. The owner is warm and welcoming, and food and equipment can be booked in advance. It's suitable for short trips to the suburbs, family gatherings, company team building, and camping stays. It's a rare gem of a rural homestay in the Dalate Banner area, with an elegant and pristine environment, thoughtfully designed photo spots, and attentive service. It's suitable for team building and family trips. The hygiene details are handled meticulously, making it a worry-free experience. Every facility and room is newly renovated, with coordinated colors for the bedding and curtains. The rooms are clean, bright, and comfortable, and quiet, perfect for relaxation.

Overall it is OK. The special room I lived in was very large and spacious. The bedding was also changed for each guest (because the cover was wet when we checked in, it proved to be just changed). The front desk service is also very enthusiastic and needs to be solved in time. It is also very convenient to eat nearby. The only downside is that the air conditioner is also cooling and the noise is quite loud. The bath water is also hot and cold. But it does not affect the accommodation.

As a long-standing business hotel, its location is absolutely top-notch, right next to Wangfujing Department Store and Wanda Plaza. Although the hotel is a bit old, the service attitude is definitely first-class. I highly recommend the breakfast – a wide variety of dishes and delicious, especially the Chinese stir-fries. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ordos.

I'm so glad we booked our stay inside the Xiangshawan Desert Scenic Area! It made everything so incredibly easy. Each room came with 6 bottles of water, and the air conditioning was already on before we even arrived. Even though it's a yurt, the interior space is very large, and the private bathroom is super clean. The hotel's services were all excellent. The all-inclusive meals were not at all superficial; each meal featured local specialties like lamb offal soup, savory milk tea, and plenty of beef and lamb. The quality was on par with outside restaurants, and we all agreed their milk tea was the best we had during our entire trip. After a fun day exploring the two islands, returning to the hotel wasn't boring at all. In the evenings, there were disco parties, firework displays, and stargazing. Every event was well-organized and very entertaining. It truly lived up to its nickname, 'Desert Disney'! Definitely worth the trip!

Extremely satisfied! Although the price was a bit high, it was definitely worth it. First, a special thanks to the short-haired female supervisor at the front desk. She was incredibly warm, patient, and thorough, answering every question we had. My daughter carelessly lost a jacket, and she actively helped us communicate and search for it, and it was eventually found (girls love beauty, and her favorite cosmetics were inside). Other hotel staff were also very welcoming; every staff member we encountered during our stay was able to answer our questions and seriously respond to all our inquiries. Second, from the moment we entered the resort's reception center, there was always a dedicated hotel staff member guiding us. The most convenient aspect was that, apart from occasional self-funded activities, almost everything else had a dedicated guest channel. When you see the long queues of tourists at the actual sites, you'll realize how friendly and necessary this service is. It saves you a lot of time to enjoy other activities. Then there's the dining. All three meals were included, and they weren't just some perfunctory, unknown drinks. The main dishes were also very diverse and abundant. After a day of fun, you could return to the hotel and relax at the bar, enjoying free-flow drinks with a live musician. Finally, the room wasn't huge, but it was compact and tidy. I had also looked up other hotels in the area at the time, and this one felt excellent. The evening party and fireworks on the island created an amazing atmosphere. Due to the weather, we couldn't experience stargazing in the desert or the sunrise over the sand dunes, or the desert hiking with sound, which was a slight regret. If our later itinerary hadn't already been fully booked, we definitely would have stayed at this hotel for another two or three days. On the first day, we played at Xiansha Island, and on the second day, Yuansha Island. In a word: Worth every penny. If your budget allows, I highly recommend this hotel.

The shower was small, and the room wasn't big either. I was thinking the cleanliness would be acceptable, but then there was a wet towel left under the sink... To make matters worse, there was a municipal power outage. The room was right next to the stairs, and there was a lot of noise from people carrying luggage downstairs early in the morning. The room wasn't soundproof either. The air conditioner didn't work either. The worst part was that I thought I could at least get some sleep even if it was noisy, but then the power came back on, and the TV automatically turned on again. I turned off the TV, and then the power went out again, then came back on, and the TV turned on again, then went out again. I was completely unable to sleep. Because of the power outage, there was no food for breakfast, and I had to use two candles to keep the other things warm. How could they even charge for breakfast? Breakfast was listed as an extra charge when I booked the room. While the municipal power outage is unavoidable, it definitely affected the experience. I specifically chose a new hotel, and the entrance was hard to find. Three cars behind us all went to the wrong entrance.

Let's start with the location. It's absolutely amazing. It's right in the heart of Dongsheng District's core business district, right to Wanda Plaza and behind Wangfujing. This location is truly amazing! I feel like a geographer, knowing all the advantages of this location. It's incredibly convenient to everything. Wangfujing Department Store is a 5-minute walk away, perfect for a relaxing stroll and some great food. Wanda Plaza is an 8-minute walk away, perfect for a post-meal snack break. The Ordos Oceanarium and Zoo are both about a 15-minute drive away, and the Xiangshawan Scenic Area is about a 50-minute drive, making it a simple day trip. Entering the spacious and bright lobby, I instantly felt like a celebrity, radiating my own energy. The front desk staff were welcoming and attentive, their smiles warmer than the spring sun. Check-in was a breeze, and I felt like a VIP, enjoying exclusive treatment. The room was even better! It was so spotless, I almost wondered if an invisible cleaner was constantly watching over me, ensuring not a speck of dust escaped. The bed was so soft, it felt like I was wrapped in a cloud. I slept soundlessly until dawn, transformed into a sleeping beauty. The soundproofing in the room was incredible; I almost wondered if I was alone. It was incredibly quiet, allowing me to enjoy my entertainment without worrying about disturbing others. The Wi-Fi signal was so strong that I felt like a complete internet geek, catching up on shows and playing games without a single lag. It was absolutely amazing. The hotel also offers free parking, free laundry, and other amenities. They really understand us, their guests. This stay was a truly fantastic experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ordos! Trust me, family, just go!

Couldn’t be any closer to the Kubuqi Desert! Such a great view from our cabin - we were very lucky. Within seconds you are standing on the sand. The team picked us up from the tourist station, helped us settle into the room and helped us buy attraction tickets (with discount). They couldn’t have been more accommodating - especially as we had to do everything by translation apps. We had a fun afternoon at the park next door - it’s not thrilling and aimed more at families - but it’s an enjoyable thing to do. In the evening we ate in their restaurant, lots of choice and food was tasty. The rooms were spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. We watched the sunset and sunrise, and enjoyed a noisy thunderstorm in the middle of the night. Shower is hot and powerful. Breakfast was a small buffet option, and tasty. Some things to note - a kettle is provided in the room but no tea or coffee. There is also no fridge. They also only provide one use disposal towels - a proper towel would have been a better experience, especially as you need more than one shower for an overnight stay. Would recommend staying here - we had as close to a desert experience as you can with a touch of luxury. The staff made the experience even better!

It was a okay stay. 5 hours stay night. Bed was wide enough. I did not expect too much on Cleanliness. Cleanliness okay.  Close to airport.  Airport transfer and no fee On the web they have car transportation without fee and no need to book. I was waiting for the car or bus. Simply unforgettable! Yilisha Resort is a dream carved right into the desert. You could not ask for a better location at any price; this resort sits in the heart of the magic with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that frame the desert, the nearby attractions, and sunsets so spectacular they feel otherworldly. We spent hours just gazing out, completely mesmerised. Our room was exquisite: spacious, beautifully designed, and crafted to showcase those magical views. Every detail—from the plush bedding to the thoughtful layout—made it hard to even think about leaving. The staff were exceptional, treating us with a warmth and care that felt genuinely heartfelt. Every request was met with a smile, and we never once felt like anything was too much trouble. Breakfast was a delight in its own right, featuring a comforting spread of traditional Chinese dishes that gave us the perfect start to each day. Yilisha isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a memory etched in gold, the kind of experience that lives rent-free in your mind long after you’ve left. China’s natural beauty is breathtaking, but this resort amplifies that grandeur and turns an already incredible landscape into pure magic. If we return to this region, there is no question: we will rebook in a heartbeat.
