Shengsi Hotels with Free Breakfast

Service: The owner was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, offering free pick-up and drop-off at the pier. Environment: The view from the hotel is unbeatable, and the location is superb, right in the heart of Gouqi Shengshan. It's incredibly convenient for visiting all the attractions, and you can walk to the town in six or seven minutes, saving a lot on transportation costs. Facilities: The room facilities are simple, clean, and very refreshing. The bed was extremely comfortable. Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I originally booked for one night, but I enjoyed the environment so much that I extended my stay for another night. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

The homestay is near the pier, five minutes away. You have to take a staircase to go up and down the stairs. The luggage can be transported in an iron box, which is very convenient. The boss is very enthusiastic and enthusiastic. He reminded us to buy tickets a few days in advance and issued a guide. I have always wanted to have a chance to visit Shengsi, the easternmost part of the motherland, to see the sunrise and sunset. I chose Wind Villa because it only takes ten minutes to walk to the East Cliff Cliff to watch the sunrise, and it is very close to the No Man's Village and Xiyang Bay to watch the sunset. In addition, you can watch the sunset and the waves of the sea by sitting in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the room. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the pure white decoration style, which was full of Instagram style. I felt that I would not feel lonely drinking coffee here for an afternoon. The water curtain flower room here is also very romantic and super suitable for taking pictures. Go home, where shall I go? The affairs of life come and go like a shuttle. Wait for leisure to watch the autumn wind and the clear waves of Luo River!

Shengshan is definitely not an easy place to get to, but staying at Woqu honestly made it so worth it! It’s very guesthouse style, so hosts have a full menu that they can cook for you if you don’t want to go into town for the restaurants. They were all so warm and welcoming, even though my Chinese isn’t very good. Even though they had a larger group of 21 staying at the same time as me, they still checked in on me to make sure that I was comfortable and that I could still have my privacy. They also offered me the number of a driver who was very readily available to take me wherever I wanted. The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view of the ocean. It would be really romantic for a couples’ getaway. I hope that more people come to Shengshan and Gouqi, even for just a day, just so they can experience some of the island-style warmth and hospitality that Woqu had to offer. This guesthouse is a hidden gem! The room was spotless and incredibly bright, with all the amenities you could need. The host was incredibly warm and thoughtful, and communication was a breeze. The location is super convenient for getting around, and the whole place felt cozy and comfortable. Excellent value for money, a perfect stay, and definitely worth coming back to. A special shout-out to the owner, who was so welcoming and considerate. Right after I booked, they called to offer travel tips, which was a huge help since it was my first time in Shengsi. There are also two adorable dogs in the courtyard. In the evenings, a few of us young people had drinks and chatted about life – I've never felt so relaxed. If I ever come back, I'll definitely choose this place again!

We had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break. This is what I liked: - buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min) - they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure - hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant - everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening - good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot - there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early - hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services! - hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai - small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;) - other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China? Overall: highly recommended!

Location: The location of the hotel is very good, the left hand temple dry beach, the right hand big pit beach, you can take children to step on the waves, catch the sea, there is a whole set of sea tools in the store, superb. Environment: Facing the sea, opening your eyes is the sea, the land people are ecstatic. Hygienic: Hygiene is very good, clean and odorless, and the children are also very happy to sleep. Breakfast: Breakfast is good, there are soy milk, fruit, white porridge and various snacks on the island, it is very comfortable to eat, and there is no pressure. Service: There is a dock to pick up the car, and there is a car to pick up the hotel when you get off the boat, which is still very convenient. I accidentally lost the bathtub plug in the room with the bath bag, and the boss did not care about it. Next time you come, the sea is really beautiful.

One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

The location is very good, right on the reef cliff, with a wide view, very suitable for going there alone. The rooms have their own characteristics, but overall they are very clean and tidy. I changed several rooms for some reasons and was very satisfied. The service was very good. I was worried that it would be inconvenient to go to the town, but the hotel took the initiative to ask if I wanted to go to the town. It was very considerate. I will definitely come again next time I have the chance!

Advantages: I personally think it is the best hotel on Goji and Shengshan Islands (I have walked to see all the B&Bs with high reviews online). It is a regular hotel, more reliable than B&Bs, cheaper, and has good service. The staff delivers fruits every day. The location is very good. It is close to the main road of Shengshan Township. Eating, shopping, and taking the bus are all at the door. It is extremely convenient. The breakfast is relatively rich. Soy milk, fried dough sticks, and steamed buns saved the stomach of a northerner (there is almost nothing to eat on the island except seafood, and it is very expensive). The picture was taken in the room opposite the bay. Disadvantages: It looks a bit old and slightly old. The harbor opposite is a fishing pier. It will be a bit noisy in the early morning. The disadvantages do not outweigh the advantages. In addition, I recommend ”M Space Tea Drink” on Chenqianshan Road. The price is definitely more expensive than outside on land, but the quality of the drinks is very good. The owner is also very nice.
