QQingyuanwangThe hotel is surrounded by a nice environment, facing the sea, with blooming flowers in spring, chirping insects in summer, waves lapping the shore, and a gentle sea breeze.
The boss and his family are very kind! The food is delicious. This is my first time in Goji B&B, so I don't know what other hotels are like, but the room facilities are ok. Maybe itâs the peak season, the housing prices are touching, and the ones with better environments on the island are not cheap! The advantage is the nice scenery!
The water in Longquan Bay is relatively clean, but there is too much garbage on the beach. It may be because it is free, but I still hope that the village can improve the environmental sanitation of Longquan Beach!
The ticket to the deserted village is 60 yuan, and I personally feel it is not worth the price. It depends on oneâs opinion! You can go down to the pier of the deserted village and take a boat to leave. It costs 50 yuan per person. There are about 10 people on a boat. If there are too many people, you will have to wait a long time!
Overall, I feel that the scenery of Goji Island is pretty good!

GGuest UserAs soon as the order was placed, the boss called and added WeChat to inform the time of the boat in detail. The boss is attentive and attentive, and he runs the homestay very carefully. The location is just behind the Shengshan Island Pier, and it is very convenient to walk. In addition to being a bit high, every time you have to climb a lot of steps, everything else is very good, there is an elevator for luggage to be transported up, the boss himself designed it very interesting. The location of the homestay is facing the west to watch the sunset. It is perfect to have breakfast outside in the morning without the sun. The swimming pool is the favorite of children, playing from dawn to dark every day. The boss also borrowed our tools to tell us that we can go to the beach to catch crabs in the morning. In short, I lived here and spent a happy three-day and two-night island trip.

LLanlinlucyThis guesthouse, perched on a hill, seems to be quite popular with influencers, featuring many Instagrammable photo spots. Both the rooms and the restaurant boast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, with the rooms directly facing the Rainbow Lighthouse. The restaurant's view is also fantastic; having breakfast with that sea view in the morning is incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather on our first day was terrible, with strong winds and heavy rain, which completely dampened my enthusiasm for taking photos. I imagine it would be amazing to visit in the summer! The in-room amenities were a bit lacking; perhaps to maintain a stylish look, there weren't many power outlets. However, the service attitude was absolutely superbâthey were always ready to help. They even gave plenty of advice to us fishing novices who were enthusiastic but unskilled. I must also mention the free pick-up and drop-off service, which saved us a good amount of money, considering that taxi fares on Shengshan and Gouqi Islands can be quite expensive. The recommended driver was also very nice. I'd definitely come back in the summer just for this level of service!

KkmendozaShengshan is definitely not an easy place to get to, but staying at Woqu honestly made it so worth it! Itâs very guesthouse style, so hosts have a full menu that they can cook for you if you donât want to go into town for the restaurants. They were all so warm and welcoming, even though my Chinese isnât very good. Even though they had a larger group of 21 staying at the same time as me, they still checked in on me to make sure that I was comfortable and that I could still have my privacy. They also offered me the number of a driver who was very readily available to take me wherever I wanted.
The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view of the ocean. It would be really romantic for a couplesâ getaway.
I hope that more people come to Shengshan and Gouqi, even for just a day, just so they can experience some of the island-style warmth and hospitality that Woqu had to offer. Thank you again for a wonderful getaway!

GGuest UserThe room is really beautiful, with no blind spots and sea view rooms. The whole house is smart. The water curtain flower room restaurant is also very beautiful. You can dine at sunset and make great movies. The dishes are also delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The most noteworthy thing is the service. They are responsive to every request. The child had a fever on the second day and they helped us prepare a fever-reducing patch. They also helped us cook white porridge for dinner. It's so thoughtful. I will choose this restaurant next time I go.

JJimmysandwichesWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Gouqi Island. The room offered a beautiful sea view, which made our stay especially relaxing and memorable. The location is also very convenientâjust a short walk to a lively food street with plenty of dining options to choose from.
What truly made this experience exceptional, though, was the ownerâs kindness and hospitality. When we unfortunately fell ill during our stay, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His support during that time meant a lot to us. He also kindly helped arrange transportation, which made everything much easier.
To top it off, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift at check-in, which was a lovely touch. I really canât rate this hotel highly enoughâboth for the facilities and, most importantly, for the genuine care and generosity shown to us.

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?
Overall: highly recommended!

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. Itâs also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more âwestern styleâ breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which weâve realized isnât a given after a few weeks in China. So thatâs another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but Iâd probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

SshhzhaoyuIt is located in Shengshan Island Fishing Port, about 10 minutes walk from the passenger terminal. The windows of the sea view room have only single-layer sound insulation. If there are fishing boats coming back from fishing at night, it will be a little noisy, but it is really interesting to watch.
