Shilin Hotels with Free Breakfast

I looked at many hotels before choosing this one when I went to Shilin. Unexpectedly, the location was very good, the hotel was new, the rooms were clean and tidy, the service staff was enthusiastic, breakfast was 15 yuan per person, which was economical and affordable, and the combination of carbohydrates, protein and vitamins was reasonable. It was the most satisfactory stay during my trip to Yunnan for a few days.

The service was good, the front desk lady smiled and greeted me all the way, and also took the initiative to remind me of the night discount in the nearby shopping mall; the room was clean and nothing to say, the sheets were white and stainless, the bathroom mirror did not have a trace of water stain, and even the corners could not find dust. The most pleasant surprise is the location, downstairs is the lively pedestrian street, eating and shopping is super convenient, walking at night can feel the fireworks, next time you come to this city, this hotel is definitely the first choice!

The service is so bad👎🏻! I went to the hotel and paid an extra 1,100 yuan to upgrade the room type. I brought 6 children with me and asked if there was breakfast and what time it was! Just tell me 9:30! No indication of how far it is from the hotel! The next morning a group of people got up and walked over, but they didn't arrive even after walking for 10 minutes. When they arrived, it was past meal time and nothing was provided! I take my kids out with my friends every month! This is the first time I encountered a hotel with such poor service!

Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.

For foreign tourists who want to visit the Karst Stone scenic areas, ie Stone Forest, the hotel is just a short walk down the road. Breakfast is buffet style and good. Meals can also be purchased. Locationwise necessitates the use of a vehicle to get to the hotel. Trip.com needs to update the hotel's name on its site. The Hotel's name is not Shilinxuan Holiday Inn. The name or names on the signage is Sloane Place and Holiday Inn Bosheng Shilin.

If you want to stay here when traveling to Shilin, the hotel is in a very good location. It is only about a 5-minute walk to the ticket gate of the scenic area. The parking lot is large and free. But the sanitary conditions are not good. The quilt covers, pillowcases and bed sheets are all washed in a small washing machine on the second floor of the hotel and hung to dry in the hotel restaurant. The standard breakfast is 20 yuan, and there is only a bowl of noodles or a bowl of rice noodles, not even an egg! There is hot water at night, but cold water for washing your face in the morning. There is no socket where the kettle is placed, so the kettle is placed on the ground to boil water.

The central location of the stone forest, surrounded by night markets, large supermarkets, parks, pedestrian streets. Food, entertainment, shopping are all complete, accommodation conditions are very convenient, underground parking is free, and you can walk.

I always stay at Hongshan Lake Hotel when I visit Shilin; the quality is guaranteed. A business trip there was a wonderful surprise! The hotel has excellent facilities, and the conference rooms are spacious and professional, perfect for business activities. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, with complete office facilities and a stable, smooth internet connection. After a busy day, a soak in the hot springs is incredibly relaxing and relieves fatigue. The breakfast is plentiful, and the service is attentive—a top choice for business travel!

The room is clean and bright, and it is very breathable. The floor is covered with blankets and it is very comfortable to step on. ☺️

酒店新裝修設施不完善，但前台的小姐姐很热情，我朋友的行李箱出现问题小姐姐也乐于幫手还把指甲蹩断掉了，早餐出现一点狀况酒店主任是个小伙子也立刻出現解決问题还另外帮我们支付去外地的车费。总体来說这家酒店值得入住很有担待，使人安心，放心，舒服有机会还会入住
