"I felt very safe and the place was clean and tidy. All the rooms were fully equipped, and even had a balcony! The king-sized bed was super comfy and the air conditioning system worked perfectly. The USB charging ports were really convenient. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The surrounding area is also great, with a 24-hour convenience store downstairs. It's also within walking distance to the city center and the Old Port."

terrie leeConvenient location with access to parking which was rather pricey 43 euro for 38 hours even with discount. You can leave your car and spend the day walking around Marseille.
It’s walking distance to both old and new ports. Near the hotel there are two shopping malls - Deck Village and Printemps.

First off, the location is great. It's not in the Old Port, but it's not too far, within walking distance. There's a pretty large pharmacy right downstairs with very reasonable prices. The front desk staff member spoke fluent Chinese and was very enthusiastic. We had an early flight and planned to just store our luggage and head out, but they gave us a room straight away, allowing us to freshen up after a long journey. The street next door has what's considered the largest commercial center. On the third floor, there's an observation deck – perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the sea breeze, very picturesque. In fact, on our last day, when we were considering staying an extra night in Marseille, our first thought was to come back to this hotel.

The location is very convenient. The hotel has access control, which is relatively safe. Free luggage storage. There are not many simple cafes around. Breakfast was added, which was very amazing. The staff are very polite

Location was great in terms of access to public transport, train station and it was central, but the area wasn't very safe, although we didn't have any incidents. Everything was very clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast could be improved - there were no vegetables available, and it would be nicer if fruit was cut into slices. When arriving for breakfast within the last 30min or so, there may be no more eggs or yoghurt available anymore, leaving just the pastry, cheese and cereal. Otherwise everything was excellent and the AC unit in the room was working very well

Very clean and modern style rooms with large walk in shower, memory foam bed made for comfortable sleeping and the bed being a full side instead of two singles pushed together was a bonus compared to other hotels we have stayed in. The tv had option to connect Netflix which we found to fit the style of the room.
The reception team were friendly and very helpful.
The lobby was unique and different, plenty space to lounge with an array of different chairs/ couches to enjoy while you wait with lots of available charging ports nearby too.
There was a pool area with a sauna and hammam, this was an additional €10pp to use for an hour but very nice facilities to use.
We stayed in the panoramic sea view room and it was worth the view however there was construction so we couldn’t open the window or have the curtains back to enjoy the view properly.
However if we return we would book again and would recommend to stay here 😊

The hotel is very well located, a 4-minute walk from the Terrasses du Porc restaurant and the cathedral. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from, catering to all tastes. The hotel is connected to the Joliette parking garage; the rate is €30 for 24 hours.
The staff were very welcoming and always helpful, thank you again!
The room was rather small, but it had all the necessary amenities, so it was convenient.
The breakfast was very good, with quality products and a wide variety. I don't know about the pool, as I didn't use it!

The biggest advantage is that the train station is very close. The train station is on a high ground. It is very difficult to pull boxes in the city, such as the old port. It is recommended that the subway taxi is closer. The whole Marseille has various heights and lows. ibis is mainly soundproofed. The sound of other neighbors closing the door is not loud outside the window. Breakfast is really good at this price hotel.

1. one centered whole room lighting is annoying, separate small independent light are needed
2. more drawers and wardrobe needed then staying long thing too messy due to lack of drawer and wardrobe
3. vending machines don't give product on the first try, need to pay 2 times I bought water and my money is deducted from my bank account but no product and the reception girl doesn't give **** about vending machine malfunction

Guest UserThe location is excellent, just steps from the old port, in an area full of cafes and bars, and we could see the theater from the window. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The cleanliness was good, but the walls were marked in several places. The building needs maintenance: the door closer was broken and prevented the door from fully opening between the bathroom and the bedroom; the walls and fixtures could use a repaint; the windows could use a clean; the bathroom could use some touch-ups and a new sink stopper; the toilet was difficult to flush. It was okay for a few nights, without high expectations. Complimentary toiletries and two towels per person plus a shower mat are provided, but there is no hair dryer.
