GGuest UserThe location is good, the staff are all friendly. The interior of the bathroom is nice and clean, the restaurant is also pretty good even though the food is minimalist, but unfortunately the downstairs room that we stayed in, apart from being musty, there is also a lot of dust which makes coughs and colds for those of us who are allergic to dust, like a room that hasn't been used for a long time đ·

AAlvinHotel has changed name to Monopoli Inn but still reflected as Paviliun in many sites.
Hotel is in a aging building which needs much renovation. Can be musky when weather is extremely wet. Breakfast is at adjacent Monopoli Hotel.
Location is right at centre of town. Heritage building has good photo opportunities, at the inn and the adjacent hotel.

GGuest UserGreat location, central in Bukittinggi! Room was not very clean but okay for us. We slept next to the reception where they smoked, so our room smelled like cigarettes the whole time (which was not very pleasant).

YYolly Rita KarwurThis seems to be the 5th time I have stayed at the hotel fort. The first time we chose to stay here because the price is right & very close to the stockade & zoo. If you want to go to Gadang, it's also near about 10 minutes. The service is friendly. Clean too. Just parking mepet2. Breakfast is normal.

GGuest UserDari luar, nampak hotel mcm ok. Tp, Bau kulat/mold Di toilet, sinki bocor bilik 801, bilik lampu dh rosak jadi malap/ gelap. Alas kaki/rug sangat teruk dah koyak2, swimming pool kotor, buka tingkap pemandangan dinding bangunan sebelah. Sarapan dihantar ke bilik, tiada pilihan. Lokasi menarik - dekat dengan jam gadang & tunnel japang. Not recommended
