The room was very spacious, which is becoming quite rare these days. The hotel also has a large garden with lots of greenery, making it peaceful and relaxing. The fresh mountain air was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
The property feels like an older hotel that is gradually being renovated. We booked three rooms, and while room 220 looked much better maintained, room 230 (the mountain view room at the end of the building) had visible mold on parts of the ceiling. The staff were kind enough to offer us another room, which we appreciated. However, mold is something that really needs attention, as it can affect guests with allergies or respiratory sensitivities.
Another area for improvement is the towels and bath mats, which looked quite worn and should be replaced for better hygiene.
Overall, the hotel has great potential with its spacious rooms, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful garden. With better maintenance, especially addressing the mold issue and replacing old linens, it could become an even more enjoyable place to stay.
