An unforgettable stay in a stunning location! We had the most wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful lake resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, so friendly, helpful, and genuinely accommodating. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and the whole atmosphere of the resort is peaceful and relaxing. A perfect place to unwind and relax. The rooms were lovely, spacious, spotless, and really comfortable, with everything we needed for a perfect break. The food was another highlight, every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. A special mention to Jeeva in the restaurant, who made our dining experience even more memorable with such attentive and warm service but all of the restaurant staff were excellent and made every meal a pleasure. Also Anju who so lovely and again very attentive but I have to say every single staff member was so pleasant, which made our stay exceptional. Can’t recommend this gem of a place enough, we are already planning our next visit!

If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Kerala, Coconut Lagoon in Kumarakom is the perfect choice. The resort brilliantly combines nature and history, allowing guests to stay in breathtaking, restored 150-year-old traditional Tharavad mansions. Set right against the serene Vembanad Lake, the location is incredibly peaceful. The highlights of our stay included relaxing by the gorgeous lakeside pool, taking the complimentary sunset cruise, and getting our tea from ”Chaya Chechi” at her charming floating tea shop. The authentic Kerala food was fantastic, and the serene atmosphere made for a truly rejuvenating getaway. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a beautiful, culturally rich retreat!

We had two nights stay at picturesque ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGE right on the banks of the lake and were. pleasantly surprised as the nature unfolded before us. Good location with good facilities and access to all amenities surrounded by organic farm , nature at its best. Good service through out and personalised care by friendly staff. Freshly cooked homemade tasty food served to your room and relax in front of the room looking over the lake with boats passing by and beautiful sunset views. The best part was the relaxed private sunset boat ride on the lake for two of us with stunning views starting right in front of our cottage. Susan Salin and team have done a wonderful job in making avail of this wonderful property for fortunate few like us. Special thanks to Asha and Arjun who were always helpful and giving us information of local tours and cultures. The property and location are great. It is well maintained and aesthetic. The tree house was a lovely and unique experience. However, there were guests walking around the cottage area to click pictures and look around the tree house, which should have been restricted strictly to maintain the privacy of the stay. Also, at night, we heard an animal scrape the flooring of our tree house. It was slightly disturbing to us but if you are cool with the complete nature experience, then it shouldnt be a problem. Also, we had to call the reception 2-3 times to ask for water in the washroom, but they swiftly turned on the motor. Also, geyser wasn't working

The location of the resort by the lake is the highlight. The open dining hall/restaurant and the view of the long nice looking pool(infinity pool according to them) with flowering trees and greenery around it, extending almost upto or giving a visual effect of stretching to the lake is a visual treat. The cool breeze from lake, flows over the pool and reach us giving a soothing effect while dining at restaurant. Food is good enough. Rooms are comfortable enough. I think it was a value for money stay.
