Morioka Hotels with Free Breakfast

1. Hotel Location The hotel is located in a relatively remote area of ​​Tsunaki Onsen. Access involves a slope and a road. Buses are infrequent, making it difficult for those without a car to reach the area. A taxi from Morioka Station costs a fixed 5,000 yen fare to the hot springs, and the journey takes over 20 minutes. 2. Neighborhood Amenities The hotel is located in a relatively remote area of ​​the hot springs. The nearest convenience store is over a 15-minute walk away. There are few other shops nearby. Once you enter the hotel, you're confined to the hotel. Even if you want to walk to the nearby river, the walk is over ten minutes. It's recommended to stock up on daily necessities, such as snacks, in the city before heading to the hotel. 3. Hotel Facilities This hotel is a very traditional hot spring inn. The building has three floors and approximately 21 rooms. The baths are separate for men and women, one indoor and one outdoor. However, the outdoor open-air bath is too close to the grass, making it prone to mosquitoes at night. The indoor bath is spacious, and since there are not many guests, you can enjoy it alone. The room facilities are a bit dated. The Wi-Fi speed is adequate, but the TV cannot connect to a tablet or YouTube. The room window overlooks the landscaped grounds next to the lobby. If you enjoy traditional Japanese inns, you will enjoy the facilities at this hotel. 4. Hotel Staff The hotel staff are very friendly and proactive in offering assistance. However, one area I think could be improved is that the dinner and breakfast service was a bit too fast.

This Toyoko Inn is a bit far from JR Morioka Station, requiring a walk through an underpass, so it's not the most convenient. Unlike other Toyoko Inns, there are no welcome drinks or ramen offered in the evenings. Breakfast is also very standard, and the rooms are quite small. Overall, it's an average experience.

We arrived late from an overseas trip but before the check in last call. Staff was friendly and thorough. The air conditioning seemed a bit weak but otherwise kept us cool. The rooms were western style, including the bathrooms and were well stocked. We didn't get a chance to eat there as we slept in until almost checkout. Beautiful place. Will likely stay there again in the future if we need another night in Morioka!

This is my third time in Morioka, and I was lucky enough to catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom – it was beautiful! The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. It's also not far from the JR station, and Kaiun Bridge and Morioka Castle Site Park are both nearby. Great value for money!

The hotel staff was wonderful! They let me know about the Nebuta Festival well in advance and took care of my parking. The amenities at this hotel branch have always been fantastic, especially the bath salts at the check-in counter. I couldn’t ask for better service and facilities for the price.

Located next to the JR station make it convenient for train travelers. There are washing machines inside and outside the public bath. It would be good if they have more things ( books & magazines ) in the louge.

Conveniently located beside JR Morioka station and Iwate Galaxy Railway (IGR) Line with the bus terminus across the road in front of the hotel and also housed within the same building as the FESAN Shopping Mall. Room was spacious and the breakfast (buffet style) in the hotel’s Chinese restaurant was good. City sightseeing bus stops at 5pm so I opted to walk to Morioka Castle/Park which took about 20mins to reach.

The hotel was fantastic! Staff were all very friendly. Check in process was hassle free and easy. Housekeeping even hangs fresh towels and toiletries outside my room as I’ve indicated no cleaning required and that’s really nice of them. Location was marvellous! Located just right opposite the Morioka Shinkansen Station. Use the underpass to get across the streets. Elevators to the underpass is located near the bus station. So do not worry if you have bulky luggage. The room I stayed in is spacious even for 2 pax with big luggage. Water pressure and heater works well. There are plenty of food options in the areas and a McDonald at B1 of the small Mall across the street. Convenient store is just along the main road.

Great location near morioka station. Convenience store is just around the corner. Room is clean but small. Overall it is comfortable for a stopover stay. Recommend.

It was an inn that flows directly from the source. The Tsunagi Onsen seems to be a hot water with beautiful skin, and the skin has become smooth! However, since it was a source, it is a pity that the water temperature was a little high and hot (although it can be adjusted by putting out water). I stayed for a long time, but the food was especially great! Both morning and evening were luxurious and full. Especially the yogurt that comes out for breakfast was excellent and I refilled it many times. All the rooms were tatami mats, so I was happy to spend barefoot (not slippers). Everyone was kind to Mr. Nakai at the time of meal and the elderly man at the front desk who made a sudden request. There are no shops around the inn that can be eaten out very much, so it is recommended to go after eating or with meals.
