I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the team at Nagano Plaza Hotel, especially Ms. Omi Hikaru.
Despite my late check-in at around 10+ PM, she went the extra mile to warmly greet me and ensure that my room arrangement was smooth and comfortable.
What truly touched me was her thoughtful initiative after learning that I had to leave early for a day tour and needed to be at Nagano Station by 0640 hrs. She kindly prepared and packed breakfast for me in advance so that I would not miss my meal before the trip.
Such genuine hospitality, attentiveness, and dedication deserve to be highly recognised and commended. Small actions like these create unforgettable experiences for guests.

Amazing
OOlyOlyExcellent hotel with a superb location! It's literally a 2-minute walk from the station, which is incredibly convenient if you're arriving from Tokyo. Right next to the station, there's also a bus terminal for trips to the Snow Monkeys or various ski resorts. The hotel itself is very clean, and the room was even more spacious than other business hotels I've stayed in. The service is top-notch. Everything you need is provided; you can pick up toiletries at the reception downstairs, and even pajamas on your floor! The view from the window of the city and mountains is stunning.
The hotel entrance is next to Lawson. You'll need to go up to the 5th floor for reception, and then there's a separate elevator for the guest floors.

Most of the hotel staffs can communicate in English. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
Free coffee & snacks, sake tasting, toiletries and luggage storage at hotel lobby.
In the room, coffee machine and mini massage chair provided.
Everything you could need is provided. Super satisfied.

PPastaDoeWe stayed for one night just as a cheap place during our short stop in Nagano to visit the Snow Monkeys. It was better than we expected - clean, convenient, and friendly.
The complimentary breakfast was like a generic buffet, serving mostly daily Japanese food. Not everything was to my liking but I didn’t mind that.
Even though I unintentionally booked a smoking room, and there were no more non-smoking rooms available, the room we got had no lingering bad smell.
Nice budget hotel!

GGuest UserI stayed here for a live concert and was extremely satisfied with this hotel! The room was a bit small, but it's super close to the station. Plus, it was so convenient to be able to store my luggage in a locker both before and after check-in, without having to go through the front desk. For breakfast, the main dish was a burger from the burger joint next door, which came with a drink, and there were also many other side dishes available – I was totally full. All the staff were very kind too. I'd definitely like to stay here again.

Service was excellent 👍 staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Amenities were also complete and comfortable. WWei LeThis place is ~5mins walk from Zenkoji temple. neighborhood is peaceful at night.
Shoes to be removed outside the accommodation. Rooms are on the 2nd floor so you'll have to carry your luggage up (there's no lift).
Room (with window) is huge. You'll have to head downstairs to use the shared toilet and shared onsen (no toilet inside the room).
We were only allowed 30mins of onsen time for 2 pax - couples weren't allowed to use the onsen concurrently so we had to go one after another (i'm not sure if the instructions got lost in translation..). Felt very rushed so i didnt really get to enjoy the onsen experience, but overall was nice and clean.
Interesting 6.30am tour around the area and within the temple itself, followed by a simple vegetarian breakfast (porridge with omakase-styled sides with miso soup) back at the accommodation. The morning tour lasted from 6.30am - 8.30am.
The accommodation provided a fleece blanket to each pax to bring to Zenkoji temple to keep us warm during the morning praying ceremony. We went on 30 Dec and it was SO COLD.
Overall interesting experience but accommodation price is pretty steep IMO.

GGuest UserThank you for the thoughtful service. The hotel is a bit far from Nagano Station, so I used the shuttle bus. The driver was also very polite and made the ride pleasant. If I have the chance to visit Nagano again, I'd like to stay here. *A special thank you to all the staff at the breakfast buffet.

It's about a 1300 yen taxi ride from Nagano Station.

AAnonymous UserVery good location, just opposite the train station. Reception is on level 2, but staff is helpful to help carry luggages to and fro ground floor.
Room is small and toilet is squeezy, but still decent for a short stay. There is a Shampoo Bar at the reception to pick up stoiletries.
Breakfast is good, the complimentary soba noodles on selected weekday nights is also great. Nice view from the 10th floor, and also free space for customers to chill during the day.
Water was not provided complimentary to customers but instead was earned through a game.
