GGuest UserOkinawa Hinode Hotel
The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Makishi monorail station, with direct access from Naha Airport. It's just a 100-meter walk after exiting the station. The hotel's common areas are fantastic! The restaurant looks spacious and bright, with plenty of seating and beautiful decor, including buffet counters adorned with flowers and lights. The self-service facilities offered by the hotel are incredibly rich, with a coffee machine, various drinks, ice cream, and a popcorn machine! This is a real bonus for family travelers or anyone just wanting to relax at the hotel. The hotel also offers complimentary beer, plum wine, Awamori, and even free late-night ramen, providing excellent value for money! They have children's tableware, making it comfortable and convenient, and with so many free food and entertainment options, it truly feels relaxing and enjoyable.

GGuest UserIt has been disappointed that many things we arrived at 4pm were out of stock including carpark lot and bed guard. They only serve as first come first serve based.
When we arrived, hotel staff told us we had to park to 10-min walking distance car park. If you have children and treat Naha as start point or end point of your trip, you are not recommended to pick this hotel. Your luggages cannot been taken and dropped off easily.

AAnonymous UserVery near to the Asahibashi station & Lawson, it took less than 7-8 mins walk. Also near to Naha bus Terminal.
You can walk to Prefectural office and down to Kokusai Dori shopping street for around 26 mins.
Everything look exactly like pictures shown in the website.
Check in early is available but it cost like 500 yen not sure if this is counted by how many hours early you wanna check in, i paid for 500yen to check in early.
The women's floor have CCTV even in the bedding area(corridor), so is safe.
At the women's floor, there's toilet & changing room/powder room, no shower room. If you want to take shower, you need to go down second floor where the onsen located. Inside will have a shower room.
Overall stay is good, clean and affordable. Recommended for solo travelers.

JJingaoxianshengFacilities: First off, the large public bath on the 13th floor of the hotel is fantastic in my opinion! It was so refreshing to come back every day and have a good soak.
Environment: Right outside, just across the pedestrian bridge, is the bus terminal, making it super convenient to get anywhere! Walk a little further and you'll reach the Asahibashi monorail station. Getting to Kokusai Street took about 10 minutes, so it was also very handy for buying souvenirs!

Kkelvin.likes.cheeseUnexpectedly Perfect Stay at Southwest Grand Hotel! 🌟
We stumbled upon Southwest Grand Hotel due to a last-minute flight change, and what a blessing in disguise it turned out to be! Our extra day in Okinawa became one of the most memorable parts of our trip—all thanks to this incredible hotel.
🛏️ Stylish & Photogenic Rooms
The room was modern, chic, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. I even turned it into a mini photo studio and captured some beautiful family portraits of my wife and our 3-month-old baby. My wife was over the moon with the results!
🍳 Breakfast That Delights Every Palate
The breakfast spread was phenomenal—offering both Western and Japanese options, all bursting with flavor. The cheese selection and homemade yogurt with honey were standouts. Don’t miss them!
📍 Prime Location
Just a minute’s walk from Kokusai-dori (国際通り), the hotel is perfectly located for last-minute shopping or grabbing essentials. Super convenient and central!
🍽️ Vibrant Evenings
As the nearby streets settle into a peaceful hush and most restaurants wind down with only a handful of diners, the lobby restaurants at Southwest Grand Hotel remain buzzing with energy. The lively atmosphere, filled with cheerful faces and clinking glasses, speaks volumes about the quality and charm of the hotel’s dining experience.
💭 Still Dreaming About It
Overall, our experience at Southwest Grand Hotel was truly delightful. Even now—almost a month later—I can still recall every moment with vivid clarity. If it weren’t for the limited parking, I’d confidently call it Michelin-worthy! This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again on our next visit to Okinawa!

IIris_ChiangHotel is very amazing. Location is great. Very near the Monorail and Family Mart. Our view from hotel room is very scenic. If driving, there's a multi-storey car park if Mercure car park is full to park. I managed to park 1 night in the car park of the hotel and was an enjoyable experience parking inside an auto-generated car park. All the staff including those at the Reception and car park are super helpful. We booked the medium range of rooms and are happy with it. Caught the sun-set from our room. Happy to see monorail passing-by. Will definitely be back to Mercure if I visit Okinawa again.

GGuest UserFor me and my mum, the location is great! We are walkable distance to Miebashi station, Kokusai Dori. Bus stop in front of the hotel is super convenient to go to American Village and UNIQLO Ryubo Ameku Rakuichi (direct buses). A lot of local food options around. And if you do take up the whale watching tour, there's pickup near the hotel. It's easy to navigate the streets to the hotel. What I'm not used to is the fact that the reception is on the 17th floor (rooftop) and extra amenities you need, you have to head up to get it.

GGuest UserMy stay here was excellent! The hotel environment was clean and tidy, and the room was comfortable and quiet with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, making both check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. The location is also very convenient. Overall, it offers great value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit, highly recommended!
GGuest UserThe stay at this hotel was fantastic! The staff's service attitude was particularly impressive—they warmly greeted us every time we came and went, which felt very welcoming. The hotel also offers complimentary luggage storage, which is incredibly thoughtful. The location is great too—it's less than a five-minute walk to the monorail station, making transportation super convenient. Right next door, there are two shopping malls—a DFS duty-free store and a shopping mall popular with locals. Both are great for shopping. A special thank you to the entire team for their hospitality and for making our stay so pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel!

Very Good
GGraceLcmWe arrived almost midnight after a long day, looking forward to a good rest. The room (Deluxe Twin) was okay and comfortable, nothing much to complain about.
However, the service was quite disappointing.
We booked a Deluxe Twin under one name and naturally expected breakfast for two persons. Upon check-in, we were told breakfast was only for one, and we had to top up more than ¥5,000 for the second person. That was quite a surprise.
What made it worse was the receptionist repeatedly making remarks in Japanese mentioning “Singaporean” during the conversation. Even if we didn’t fully understand everything, the tone and body language were uncomfortable and unnecessary.
After a long journey, you really hope for warm hospitality — unfortunately, this was not the experience we had.
Just sharing our experience.
