TTasting DreamscapeI really enjoyed my stay at Apsor Palace Hotel. It’s in a very convenient location, just a short distance from the Royal Palace and nearby shopping. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. A comfortable and pleasant experience overall.

AAnonymous UserLocation: at center of Phnom Penh, easily reach by grab. Room: neat and clean, size wise just ok, I get a nice view of Mekong river. Breakfast: variety not much but just ok you can request staff for additional egg menu. Staff: really friendly and greet you everytime. Shoutout to the breakfast staff who check with you everytime. Improve: although the towel is clean but it looks old and some have light yellowish stain which believes unable to wash out. It visible to naked eye. Which really unpleasant.

DDwcwongHotel KVL is a solid city base in Phnom Penh with a good location and views over the Mekong River. It’s close to the main bar area and a weekend street market, but that also means the road in front is closed from around 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, so it’s worth checking how that might affect your arrival or departure. Make sure you get the exact room type you booked, as there can be discrepancies, and note that the water pressure is on the weaker side, though everything else in the room works well. Breakfast is decent with enough variety, and overall the hotel offers a nice urban contrast to the resort feel of the Park Hyatt in Siem Reap.

RRobsastarOn this trip I upgraded to one of their apartments and that made my week even more comfortable.. Very spacious, bath, 2 showers 2 toilets, 2 good aircon units and a small balcony overlooking Wat Botum pagoda. A good family sized fridge freezer meant my drinks, milk meats and cheeses were cold. Basic utensils but top tip, bring a normal cutlery knife. Located on 4th floor, I woas treated to a spooky but spectacular lightning show without the rumble of thunder. Stood on balcony and had a fantastic view. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts still very good, simple but plenty. However going 'self-catering' allowed me to get my cornflakes and ice cold milk in the morning. Cannot beat that! Next visit will see me booking an apartment only. So so convenient. Again, Le Botum was a superb location for me. Go to street 172. Plenty of expats....some characters too...and a 24hr supermarket called 'Smile' and you will. So much British stuff, it could have been anywhere in the UK. Book Le Botum. You won't be disappointed.

GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is safe, comfortable, and conveniently situated in the Riverside district. It has a good cost performance (i.e. price-to-quality ratio). Not everything is perfect, but the staff makes up for it, they are friendly and helpful (special shout-out to Nita who is fantastic, she is the nicest person and she helped me with all my requests). I originally booked a basic room until I found out a few days ahead the room had no window (I did not read the description carefully enough), so I upgraded for a ā€œstandard double roomā€ with window. The first room I moved into did not have hot water. The hotel was not able to fix it, so eventually they moved me to another room where the hot water worked, which was great. The room did not have a chair and desk, but I asked the staff and they brought one. At some point, Nita helped me arrange a laundry load. It was done overnight and cost 3 dollars, so it seems the laundry is outsourced to a nearby business. At night, the street can be a little loud, there are many bars, KTVs and nightclubs located here. But it did not bother me, I could sleep through it easily. Many of the bars have hordes of pretty women who, beginning at dusk, sit outside and come ask you to drink with them. They get your attention by shouting ā€œhelloā€, ā€œcome hereā€, ā€œhandsomeā€ and ā€œbongā€ (mister) as you are walking by. In any event, this did not bother me, I never actually felt harassed and could come and go the hotel as I pleased. The description mentioned the room would have a minibar, but my room didn’t have one. Probably I could have asked for it, but I realized I didn’t need one. One morning, there was a visit by the police, they were checking visas and passports from all foreign hotel guests. This was unexpected, but it went smoothly. Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would probably come here again. Not everything is perfect, but I give it 4.5 stars (4 stars for the price/quality/location plus an extra half-staff bonus for the staff, especially Nita).

GGuest UserExcellent location with warm service. However, it isn’t an ideal hotel location for tourist location where situating near a bin or smth like landfill that with unlike smell. Additionally, the room was filled with ants everywhere. The hygiene condition definitely has room for improvement. In terms of faculties, the bathroom can’t provide hot water with stable temperatures, i can’t take a shower with hot water around 7ish. anyway, i still think the hotel quality is matched with the price though, not a bad choice for a short stay

YYigit DI arrived at this hotel around 12 noon. The reception staff welcomed me kindly. There were a few other people waiting in the lobby at the same time. They told us that the rooms were not ready yet and that check-in time was at 2 PM. I said okay and started waiting, but since I thought it might take a while, I decided to go for a walk. I explored the nearby streets, went into a market, did some shopping, and spent some time outside. When I returned to the hotel around a little after 1 PM, I noticed that the people who had been waiting earlier were gone—so I assume their rooms had been given. The receptionist told me that my room was also ready. Then a staff member accompanied me to my room, which was on the 5th floor. The elevator in this hotel only goes up to the 4th floor, so you have to take the stairs up one more level to reach the 5th floor. The room itself was quite spacious. The Wi-Fi worked well without any issues. However, the TV did not seem to have smart features—there was no internet connection or anything like that. It was supposed to show regular channels, but due to poor antenna reception, it barely showed anything. The channels were full of static and not watchable, so the TV was essentially unusable. The air conditioner was working, but I think the gas might have been low, because the cooling was quite weak. Still, it was enough for me. There is a safe box in the room, but it seemed to have been locked previously and could only be used with a key. I couldn’t use it with a digital code. There is also a minibar with various drinks, but I didn’t use it. I only used the fridge to store items I bought myself. I think having a fridge is quite important in hot countries like this—it’s definitely useful. Hot water was available without any problems. One of the best things about this hotel is its location—it’s within walking distance to tourist areas and central entertainment spots. Other than that, I didn’t notice any particularly special features. The building itself is quite old, and I could see that it’s somewhat worn out. Still, it’s fine for a few days’ stay. But if you are expecting something luxurious, you should probably look for another hotel. For breakfast, there is a set menu. During my three-day stay, I had the same set menu every day. It was pretty standard, nothing special. There is also a restaurant at the entrance where you can order meals, but I didn’t try it—I only had breakfast there. That’s pretty much my experience. If you ask whether I would stay here again, I’d say it’s not bad, but you might be able to find a better place for the same price if you look around. The price was around the market average—not too expensive, not cheap either. Maybe you can find something better for the same price, but I’m not sure. These are my thoughts about the hotel. Have a great holiday everyone!

Jjordanfrom jakarta indonesiaThis is a hotel whose location is most easily reached by bus number 3 (1500 riel/person) to and from PNOM Penh International Airport. The bus stop is right in front of the night market which is only 100 meters to the hotel and only takes 3 minutes. The hotel location is right opposite the Riverside and walking to the royal palace is only 7-10 minutes. Thank you for the hospitality of the hotel manager
