"We enjoyed the moment the walked into the hotel. Zara was so friendly , we got there early so we left our luggage in safe hands. Zara recommended a variety of places to go and food restaurants which didn’t disappoint. The staff were lovely and friendly and the hotel was so clean lm super fussy . The breakfast was nice we actually enjoyed not having a full buffet to over eat. They cooked the toast for you which was very sweet not used to that. Can’t fault the place. It’s location was fantastic it was quiet so sleep was awesome . It was literally a minute walk and you were interesting in restaurants and music"

"This hotel was a fantastic find - a real gem! The location was perfect for exploring Valletta, and the hotel itself was set in a stunning renovated building, with fantastic interior design features. The staff were so friendly, and willing to be flexible and helpful in any way they could. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a good range of amenities. The breakfast was just right, and you could order what you wanted the day before, so it was very personalised. There is a coffee machine in the lounge, which was free to use all day, as well as at breakfast, which was a real highlight. I loved 19 Rooms, would highly recommend it, and will definitely be coming back! "

"I seldom post a review for the hotels I stayed but my experience with Merlior Boutique hotel had left such an indelible experience that I must leave a good review. This strategically located hotel is very convenient as it’s along the main shopping district of Republic street but it is not noisy at all in our room. Very good and delicious Starbucks breakfast is provided if you select to have it included. Toiletries are from Loccitane which is impressive. Room is extremely comfortable and it’s just at the right temperature even when it’s winter time. Had really a lovely time staying at this incredible boutique hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone considering it when you visit Valletta."

EechovonDue to some accidents, I was stranded alone on the Falkland Islands. Because the Marriott I booked before was fully booked, I chose this hotel in the center of Valletta. The hotel required check-in at 3 o'clock. Since I arrived early, it was 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I was allowed to check in~ The receptionist was very nice~ He even gave me a cup of coffee while I was waiting, and then he sent me and my luggage to the room in a very gentlemanly manner~ The flight the next day was at 7pm. I asked if I could delay my check-out time, and the receptionist happily delayed my check-out for 2 hours. The room was clean and tidy, and the toiletries provided were Balmain. The room was cleaned very diligently, and it was very safe. Nothing was missing. Except Breakfast is really a bit lackluster, everything else is perfect~

SSoniaIt was a nice stay. However for a 5-star hotel, there is no full body mirror, no bidet, table and chair as per description. Also, the description of room categories here in Trip. com are misleading so better to double check it first with them.
For the toiletries, the hand soap, shampoo & conditioner, and shower gel are all same. I was under the impression that atleast there will be conditioner but all are same and my hair became very dry. The lotion, cotton buds were not replensihed for a 3-night stay. For the Tv, we struggled to operate and no English channel. I tried to call reception but no one’s answering.
Breakfast is ok and the staffs serving breakfast were so nice and polite.
Room was so clean. However as the room was in the ground floor, we always here the lift and when people are cleaning or doing things in the corridor.

YYuwenTotally beyond my expectation!! From the smiley face welcoming us when we first walked in to the home made turndown macarons to the breakfast (the chef even peeled the tomato skin!); everything impressed me. We stayed two nights in the Casa and it is my first time staying in the Valetta. The hotel focuses on service details!!
Superb location - 10 to 15 mins walk to the bus terminal/ upper and lower Barrakka garden/ the ferry pier with easy access to bars, restaurants, and shops. The building itself is historical and we love the design of the room. The big in-room safe provides extra secure.
But what I love the most is the team. Everyone at the reception and during breakfast service has been super amazing. Special thanks to Peter who performed the room orientation upon check-in, Matthew who assisted me with luggage and escorted me to the uber pick up point upon departure, the pretty lady Sladjana with a big smile and endless jokes that made my day, and Renniel who helped fix the issue of the basin stopper.
Highly recommend Casa Ellul to everyone. Dont miss the wonderful breakfast in the morning!

All the staff was very friendly, ensured that we got a nice room, the room is big than average hotels and all new. The breakfast is tasty and prepared in the moment.

GGuest UserLovely boutique hotel conveniently located in the heart of Valetta. We were greeted with a warm welcome. All the staff were so friendly and polite. My room was very spacious, modern and comfortable. Appreciated all the extra toiletries and facilities in the room. Breakfast on the sunny terrace was a delight and much more bountiful than expected. I couldn't fault this hotel. Top marks to all the staff.

GGuest UserThe hotel owner is an artist. There are paintings done by him in every floor of the hotel. The hotel located at restricted pedestrian area. Location is second to none. Uber/bolt can come to door before 9:30am. Other time you will need to walk a few blocks to get one.

The bed was very comfortable, but personally, I think a desk would be more useful than a vanity in the room. Breakfast is okay.
The night porter was very friendly and helpful, while the day shift was rather dismissive and always seemed surprised when there was anything to do. When I asked if they could call a taxi, I was asked in return if I didn't have Bolt or Uber.
I was given a key for storing my luggage: I put my suitcase in the luggage room in the basement myself, but if every guest has access, a locked room doesn't make sense.
The stay was okay, but I wouldn't book the Osbourne again.

KkokoseLocated in the center of Valletta, it is very convenient for sightseeing!! Malta is very hot in the summer, so it was great to be able to come back to the hotel and take a shower between sightseeing. The view from the rooftop was amazing, and we had a special time at the pool. Breakfast was also delicious. When we mentioned that it was our 3rd wedding anniversary, the hotel prepared a cake for us in the room, which became a wonderful memory. This is a hotel that we can recommend to anyone traveling to Malta.
