Staff were attentive and welcoming, in house dining set was valuable, breakfast variation not that great but the view was superb which there were seats beside the swimming pool. Only one point that abit disappointing is that the hotel forgot to do some simple in-room birthday decoration that I have email requested earlier 🥲

CCELESTE YEONNThe city was hit hard (heavy rain- floods) in the year end 2025. Many hotels have the smell couldn't been wash away. But this hotel have been perfect in handling odour away except the unremovable sofa (please refrain sitting the sofa,it smells terrible like spoil tofu/egg ept) Other than that, it is a great place for events. Breakfast was great, gym available, swimming pool ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

LLeonardzzI stayed at Subanan Resident in Hatyai and had a really good experience overall. The cleanliness is the first thing that stood out — the place is spotless, probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at in this price range.
The service was also impressive. When I had an issue with the WiFi, I just gave them a call and the staff personally came over to hand me the code face-to-face. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Even on my first visit, the parking service was clear and well-organised, which made things easier.
Location-wise, it’s not in the busy tourist area, which I actually liked. It’s surrounded by local houses, so the vibe is calmer and more relaxing. Within walking distance (about 4 minutes) there’s a Big C Mini, and a 7-Eleven about 7 minutes away. It’s a nice balance — not too far from convenience, but away from the tourist crowds and heat.
As for amenities, they’re average. One of the rooms came with a Netflix account, while another didn’t, which was a bit inconsistent. Also, setting it up wasn’t the most straightforward — you need to switch between the TV remote and the Xiaomi box remote, which takes a little figuring out.
Overall, if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a calm local atmosphere over being in the middle of the tourist spots, Subanan Resident is a solid choice.
Btw the coffee n tea pastries is just a cupcake and milo powder

AAfifa AimiThis hotel was a pleasant stay for me. It is very clean and the location is super convenient as it is just opposite Central Festival Hatyai and next to Makro. Other popular tourist spots are also nearby within around 3KM and easy to get around by renting a bike or using Grab/Maxim. Service was great, we arrived early around 7:30AM just to drop our luggage and the staff were happy to keep it. They even allowed us to check in an hour earlier since our room was ready. Amenities were good and looked very nice although I did not have time to enjoy them as I was mostly busy food hunting. The staff were friendly, helpful, spoke decent English and some Malay and breakfast did not have many choices but was acceptable and suited my taste as a Malaysian. Sorry I do not have much pictures taken inside the hotel

AAnonymous UserThis was just a transit stop on my way from Malaysia to Southern Thailand. The room was quite comfortable, had a balcony, and the bathroom design was practical. Breakfast was decent, and for the price, it was acceptable. It's very close to the long-distance bus station, and there's a mall and restaurants nearby.

GGuest UserA cosy and quaint hotel with a nice resort feeling. Location is not far to Lee Gardens and other attractions as well.
Service of the staff is excellent and comes with a small cafe and a restaurant with even a library nested in it.
Downside, hotel should provide bedroom slippers for all guests and the aircon fan coil should be cleaned up more regularly.

GGuest UserMy first stay in this hotel, was impressed by the lobby, very cozy and nice. As for the room, it was spacious and clean, no complaints. Front office staff wasn’t very friendly. When checked out at 10am, there was no staff at the counter. The cleaner helped to look around, waited for 10 minutes then the lady staff came out from the door behind the counter. No greeting and apology, just ask me to wait for room check and that took another 5 minutes before I had my 500 baht deposit back. Hotel location is near to Lee Garden and Kim Yong market, short walking distance, convenient.

NNslooThe Owner Saved Our Lives During the Flood
My family and I were stranded in Hatyai for 7 days due to the severe flood, and staying at this hotel truly became a blessing. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the hotel owner and his team. Their kindness, dedication, and genuine care went far beyond the responsibilities of a normal hotel.
The owner personally made sure every guest was safe, well-informed, and supported throughout the crisis. He arranged food daily, checked on us regularly, and ensured we were all well taken care of during a very frightening time. His calm management and quick action gave us comfort and hope when everything outside was uncertain.
We will forever remember his generosity and how much he did to help us through this difficult situation. This is not just a hotel — it is a place run by people with real heart.
Rest assured, you can stay at this hotel with complete confidence.Highly recommended, not only for its facilities, but for the outstanding humanity shown by the owner.
