Mommy ohmThis was my first time staying here, and I came with my two daughters. We really liked it; the beds were super comfortable. However, the room layout was a bit odd, and the toilet paper holder in the bathroom was quite hard to reach. The towel rack was installed inside the shower, which was unusual. Also, the light switches were a bit confusing to operate. Overall, the room was good.
The restaurant's buffet line was quite small, and the seating felt too cramped. The outdoor seating area was so close to the pool that the floor was constantly wet. I saw several people slip and fall. They should definitely put down non-slip mats around the pool area to prevent accidents.
Regarding service, there should be staff monitoring the outdoor poolside seating during breakfast, asking guests if they need anything and ensuring their safety.
For the sauna, there should be clear instructions on how to use it, as some guests might not know, as well as clear opening and closing times. The operating hours or temperature settings should be standardized (and not placed where guests can adjust them, as this could damage the equipment).
As for the fitness center, it should open earlier, perhaps at 7:00 or 8:00 AM. There's also a bit too much equipment, making the room feel small and cramped, especially if multiple guests are using it at once.

This was just a transit stop on my way from Malaysia to Southern Thailand. The room was quite comfortable, had a balcony, and the bathroom design was practical. Breakfast was decent, and for the price, it was acceptable. It's very close to the long-distance bus station, and there's a mall and restaurants nearby.

Andrew CKFThis hotel located in Songkhla is very new and fairly clean. Not much complain to be honest. However, it is very hard to book Grab or get a taxi here as it's rural area and quite a distance away from Hatyai. Lucky for us to meet a friendly Grab driver since Day 1 and has been always asking him to fetch us personally. If not, it will be so much of a trouble concerning how to travel out from this hotel to Hatyai or back to Airport.

LeonardzzI stayed at Subanan Resident in Hatyai and had a really good experience overall. The cleanliness is the first thing that stood out — the place is spotless, probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at in this price range.
The service was also impressive. When I had an issue with the WiFi, I just gave them a call and the staff personally came over to hand me the code face-to-face. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Even on my first visit, the parking service was clear and well-organised, which made things easier.
Location-wise, it’s not in the busy tourist area, which I actually liked. It’s surrounded by local houses, so the vibe is calmer and more relaxing. Within walking distance (about 4 minutes) there’s a Big C Mini, and a 7-Eleven about 7 minutes away. It’s a nice balance — not too far from convenience, but away from the tourist crowds and heat.
As for amenities, they’re average. One of the rooms came with a Netflix account, while another didn’t, which was a bit inconsistent. Also, setting it up wasn’t the most straightforward — you need to switch between the TV remote and the Xiaomi box remote, which takes a little figuring out.
Overall, if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a calm local atmosphere over being in the middle of the tourist spots, Subanan Resident is a solid choice.
Btw the coffee n tea pastries is just a cupcake and milo powder

Located a short distance from night market or eateries, as long as guests are aware that clocking minimum 500 steps before you find eateries. Hotel has cafe that serves food and drinks too. Ambience is pretty good.
Room only has 1 bucket in washroom to throw rubbish. A little inconvenient. Room uses yellow light.
Reception area has hotel souvenirs for sale too!
Hotel staff are courteous and helpful in helping us locate local markets which we wanted to visit.

Guest UserI would like to propose a new approach to the booking process.
Regarding bookings, since I am using a Diamond-tier account, when I make a reservation for a guest or anyone else, it is not necessary for me to know the guest’s name at the time of booking. What matters is the booking number that we present. The guest who checks in can simply use their own name, as long as it matches their ID card or passport, that should be sufficient.
There is no need for us to contact or disturb the guest just to ask for their name, especially since sometimes the booking may be made up to 12 hours in advance. Therefore, I would like to suggest that we improve this process by applying a Kaizen approach.
Nowadays, we should prioritize convenience in the booking process. Booking should not require the guest’s full name in advance.
I would also like to raise another point. In the airline industry, passengers can complete online booking and even online check-in, despite having very strict security systems. However, in the hotel industry, I do not understand why online check-in is still not fully implemented.
Why is that?
If you want, I can help you make this sound more persuasive (for a meeting or proposal) or shorter for LINE/chat 👍
