Khon Kaen Hotels with Free Breakfast

The room was a very good size, with comfortable beds and pillows, and it was exceptionally clean. However, the soundproofing was very poor. We could clearly hear guests in the room above us walking around and repeatedly opening and closing doors. We were also able to hear loud conversations from the room next door until around 2:30 a.m. As a result, we had difficulty sleeping during our stay. One of the main reasons for staying at a hotel while on vacation is to get a good night’s rest, and unfortunately this hotel fell short in that very important aspect.

The place is clean, the staff are attentive, and it's conveniently located near plenty of food options, making it easy to get around.

The rooms are good, and the staff is great. The housekeeping staff is especially good. All the front desk staff provide excellent service. The room was clean and the bed was soft, but the stairwell was a bit dark. I recommend using the elevator. Overall, it's pretty good!

Though this is one of the city’s older hotels, it’s impressively well-maintained and continuously improved. The attentive staff, excellent cleanliness, and quality amenities made for a very pleasant stay. Highlights and Impressions From the moment of arrival, the hospitality stood out. The team greeted us warmly, and the bell staff were quick to assist with luggage and loading or unloading the car. Overflow parking is conveniently located in a nearby covered structure, and a small shuttle cart is available if needed. Our Deluxe Double Room was spotless and comfortable. Linens and towels were clean and in great shape, and the room felt freshly updated. A newly installed 43” Samsung Smart TV worked perfectly for streaming via Fire Stick, and the walk-in shower provided strong water pressure and consistent hot water. Toiletries included shampoo, body wash, shower cap, and cotton swabs. The only downside was that slippers were unavailable during our stay. Breakfast offered a satisfying variety with a made-to-order egg station, boiled eggs, fresh salads, and a mix of Thai and Western items. The salad was crisp and fresh, though the butter substitute and instant coffee were a bit disappointing. Espresso and cappuccino drinks are available for an additional charge. The pool area is inviting but lacks enough lounge chairs — a small improvement that would make a big difference. The fitness center, however, was excellent, featuring modern, well-maintained machines, cardio and weight equipment, and a designated space for stretching or boxing. The wellness center provides great value as well — a relaxing 90-minute foot massage costs only 240 baht (about $7.50). The room was spacious, almost excessively so, leaving quite a bit of unused space. While two chairs are provided, a small sofa or lounge would make the room feel more complete. It balances old-school Thai hospitality with modern amenities and excellent value for money. Quiet, but the room wasn't as clean as it should have been. They didn't check the soap and shampoo to see if they were empty. There were still hairs on the bathroom floor and toilet, dust in the corners, and the bathroom mirror light flickered.

I stayed three nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel is not new, has a pleasant retro vibe. The windows are looking into the garden, nice and green, with a couple of tables and garden swings. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful, even though it's close to a big street. There is ICBC atm just near the entrance. Staff was polite and nice (although I didn't really interact because I don't speak Thai). I arrived close to midnight, and the receptionist was there to check me in. My room didn't get a lot of sunlight (because of the tall trees just outside), but I didn't mind because I was only there to rest and sleep. You'll need to bring your own toothbrush and paste, or you can buy from the reception or 7-11 nearby. Free bottled water, also you can refill downstairs. Coffee, tea and jam toast, self service, in the morning. The bed was huge and comfy, I had the best sleep in a while. Also loved Vietnamese restaurant just across the street. Would definitely stay again and choose a room on the ground floor, to have direct garden access.

I liked the city and hotel. It had a great location near Ton Taan market (very big and clean market where you can find anything to eat, clothes and handmade stuff). The room was big with balcony. Very comfortable and nice area

The accommodation is clean and quiet, and I slept very comfortably. There are many rooms and lots of trees. Plenty of parking too. The only downside is that there's no hairdryer.

Personally, I think this price for this kind of room is really good value for money. However, if you're particular about old rooms and old furniture, you might not like it. But for me, it wasn't an issue because the price was super cheap. It has air conditioning, food is available, and there's an extra fan. There's a water heater, but no fridge. The bathroom clearly separates the dry and wet zones. My only complaint is that mosquitoes somehow get into the room, and I'm not sure how.

The hotel is clean enough, had a lovely view of the lake and the beds were comfy, air con worked, and it was decent basic accommodation. The wardrobe doors were broken and the drains smelt from the bathroom, which wasn't the nicest. To be honest the whole place could do with a facelift and a lick of paint but the room we had was spacious and its cheap, simple accommodation. The rooftop is actually very lovely, with views out over the lake and the city. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on that. The staff were friendly with no frills, and we all did our best to communicate with English/Thai barrier.
