"I blindly picked this hotel for my trip and it turned out to be an absolute hidden gem – what a pleasant surprise!
As soon as I entered the room, I was amazed. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows that let in so much natural light. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was bright and fresh, making for a truly relaxing stay. The service throughout was impeccable. Jingjing was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, always ready to help with a gentle and thoughtful demeanor that made me feel right at home.
The hotel's facilities and equipment are all new and comprehensive, making for a fantastic experience. The Italian restaurant served authentic and delicious dishes, and the breakfast was hearty and satisfying. The bar had an amazing ambiance, perfect for a relaxing drink. The exquisite afternoon tea at the 'Le Bar' was both beautiful and delicious, offering a leisurely and delightful experience. And the SPA provided professional treatments that were truly effective in relieving fatigue.

GGuest UserThis is an older, well-established 5-star hotel under the InterContinental brand. While not located in the city center, it's right next to Wenhan Lake Park, offering a very quiet and comfortable stay. Its main draw is its proximity to Chimelong Safari Park and Guangzhou South Railway Station, making it incredibly convenient for visiting Chimelong – just a ten-minute drive. The hotel also provides shuttle services to and from Chimelong and the South Station. It's also very close to the Florentia Village, so dining and shopping options are easily accessible. The rooms are new and spacious, with comfortable bedding and a bathtub. There's an indoor pool and a fitness center, which is a great plus for guests who like to keep fit. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the congee is outstanding. Service is excellent; staff are always greeting guests, and any issues are handled promptly. Highly commendable!

GGuest UserThis is the best value-for-money hotel I've stayed at in Foshan and Shunde! I loved it, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Foshan!
Facilities: It's a new hotel, which is something I really look for now when booking. This Poly hotel is very new and beautifully decorated.
Cleanliness: Very clean, no major issues.
Environment: The environment is beautiful. There's also a gym, swimming pool, and an atrium garden, which is perfect for a lazy person like me who doesn't want to leave the hotel.
Service: The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. I ate there for three days and didn't get tired of it.

ZZhuangdamamiStaying at the Foshan Nanhai Zhanyun Hotel on ***** New Year's Eve was a delightful surprise. The hotel boasts an elegant and refined decor, with peony-patterned carpets and embroidered wall hangings that exude sophistication. The environment is clean and tidy, and the family suite is perfect for traveling with seniors and children, offering comfort and convenience. The service was warm and attentive; even during the Spring Festival, the staff were incredibly responsive to all requests. On New Year's Day, they even delivered New Year's greetings, making it feel just like home. The two large floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with light, and being on the 28th floor provides expansive views. There's a subway station right outside the window, offering easy access everywhere. Below, a river meets a larger river, and on a sunny day, the glistening water creates a beautiful and uplifting scene.

GGuest UserThis hotel is in a great location, right across from Shunfeng Mountain Park. The room rates are reasonable, and it's close to several highly-rated restaurants. The Marriott staff were incredibly welcoming and proactive; they helped me with my luggage to the room, offered a lake-view room on the 25th floor, and extended my check-out until 2:00 PM. They even have a robot that delivers water! Highly recommended.

TTlheksLocated close enough to the main attraction in. Foshan city, it was a convenient place to rest our heads. The parking was interesting but also time consuming because you have to wait for your car to be brought down from a maze. The location was not so good either because we couldn’t open our curtains due to the neighbours peering in from their houses. And honestly speaking, their houses were not nice to look at. It’s literally for sleeping, however, their doors are not sound proof so you hear the people in the passage walking or running or talking. .

GGuest UserAs the first stop of my annual leave trip, Shunde isn't directly accessible by flight, which made the journey a bit cumbersome. Thankfully, there's a timed shuttle service from the airport that goes directly to Jiaxin City Plaza station, which is quite close to the Sheraton. You can scan a QR code on the left side of the exit to book the airport shuttle service online, and there are discounts if you purchase tickets for two or more people. If you're not in a hurry for direct, point-to-point travel, this is definitely a better option than struggling with taxis or transferring with luggage to the subway and intercity rail.
The hotel's overall location is quite secluded with unobstructed views, making for a good vista. I communicated at the front desk that I wanted to be away from conference and group guests, and they successfully arranged a quieter floor for me. Upon check-in, I was given a hand-drawn food map created by the hotel itself.
The room was spacious. I tried the breakfast buffet once; the taste was rather ordinary. They did have some local specialties like pork offal congee and wonton noodles, which was convenient. However, the selection wasn't extensive, and the buffet restaurant was relatively small.
If you order takeout, you can call the front desk to have a robot deliver it to your room.
The brunch and afternoon tea at Yue Cai Xuan were quite good. The overall atmosphere and food quality were consistent. The double-skin milk felt a little less delicate than others I've tried, but everything else was fine. Tea refills were prompt, allowing us to chat and eat at our leisure.
The pool was open as usual. It was less crowded in the evening, but one area near the edge was quite dark. Both the dry and wet saunas were very comfortable. Some guests went directly to the sauna. The space is small, so it's best to try and avoid peak times to prevent awkwardness.
There were no traditional Chinese tea sets in the room. I remember the Sheraton in Shantou had them, along with bagged single-serve teas.
On the last two nights, the weather started to get hot. I was woken up by mosquitoes on the tenth floor at night. I had to get up to kill mosquitoes and call for mosquito repellent, which took a while before I could fall back asleep.
Overall, my stay was quite comfortable, and the facilities were complete. If you like quiet surroundings and enjoy brunch/afternoon tea, this is a good choice.

QQiu XianI stayed at *Yazi Hotel Foshan* for over 6 days and had a very pleasant experience. The *staff were friendly, polite, and always helpful*. Every day, the housekeeping auntie cleaned the room thoroughly, which I really appreciated.
The *breakfast area offers a lovely view*, and I was also impressed by the thoughtful *afternoon tea and late-night supper* options — a nice touch that made the stay even more enjoyable.
The *only downside* is that there are only two elevators, which can be a bit slow during peak hours. But overall, I'm very satisfied with the service, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserVisiting during the off-peak season was really enjoyable. Even though there were many school field trips, the amusement rides had fast passes. The hotel lobby service was excellent; they even brought up our takeout and sent extra water bottles when we ran out. You absolutely *must* try the crystal claypot cake inside Changlu, near the caterpillar roller coaster—it's incredibly delicious!

My room was quiet and comfortable, featuring a spacious desk and chair, and super-fast internet. The staff were professional and welcoming, always ready to assist. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. It's perfectly suited for both business and leisure. Definitely a five-star review!
