My best friend's birthday was coming up, so we organized a trip together. After searching around, we chose this hotel, figuring that since it's an Intercontinental brand, everything should be excellent. And it turned out to be the right choice! It's about a ten-minute taxi ride from the South Station to the hotel. For the birthday, the hotel also helped with decorations and even provided a complimentary birthday cake.
The only slight downside was that it might have been too crowded on the weekend. The breakfast buffet was very busy, and we had to wait quite a while for a table. However, the staff did offer the option of taking the food back to our room, which was a good alternative.

This time, I traveled with friends, and we communicated in advance hoping to get rooms on the same floor. Andy was incredibly helpful and managed to arrange everything beforehand. We were assigned to the same floor directly upon check-in, which was very convenient for socializing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the overall environment was excellent, and the executive lounge experience was great. The staff were friendly, service responses were prompt, and attention to detail was excellent. In our free time, we could also explore the gym and children's play area; the facilities are comprehensive. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely choose this place again next time!

The room was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. Although quiet, the convenience of having a mall right next to the hotel, offers plenty of shopping and dining options.
The staff provided friendly and attentive service, always ready to assist with a smile. The amenities were top-notch.
A choice for anyone looking for comfort and convenience.

Lisa's service was excellent. The hotel's robot delivery for meals was fast, secure, and clean. Parking was convenient with plenty of spaces, and the room was quiet, bright, and comfortable! I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Guest UserStaying at the Marriott Foshan, right in the heart of Qiandeng Lake, is truly a top-tier luxury experience! The front desk staff upgraded my room to one with a balcony. The location, view, and service are all exceptional. I fell in love with it after just one stay. Opening the door, I was immediately amazed by the floor-to-ceiling windows and the balcony overlooking Qiandeng Lake. During the day, the lake view is stunning, and in the evening, when the lights come on, the night view is breathtaking. The warm lighting creates a wonderful ambiance, and the bedding is so soft, like sinking into clouds – I fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed. The marble bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, a huge bathtub, and high-end amenities. All the facilities at this five-star hotel are comprehensive, so no need to pack a ton of luggage for business trips. Don't miss the panoramic glass dome pool on the 5th floor, and the fully equipped gym + yoga room!

Guest UserI took my child out for Children's Day.
Facilities: To be honest, the play facilities are a bit old, but there are many food options inside, and the prices are cheaper than X-Long. We chose the stargazing room, and my child loved it, but I hope the cleanliness can be improved. Some hidden corners weren't cleaned properly, and there was a lot of dust in the room.
The hotel package included access to the amusement park, but many facilities required additional payment, which felt a bit like a rip-off. What I did enjoy was the swimming and hot springs. It feels like Changlu really wants to be a resort, but perhaps due to the current economic downturn, it hasn't been able to maintain itself well.
Overall, it was still an enjoyable trip. I hope Changlu improves!

Guest UserI stayed at *Yazi Hotel Foshan* for over 6 days and had a very pleasant experience. The *staff were friendly, polite, and always helpful*. Every day, the housekeeping auntie cleaned the room thoroughly, which I really appreciated.
The *breakfast area offers a lovely view*, and I was also impressed by the thoughtful *afternoon tea and late-night supper* options — a nice touch that made the stay even more enjoyable.
The *only downside* is that there are only two elevators, which can be a bit slow during peak hours. But overall, I'm very satisfied with the service, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

I’d like to start by saying that the room was lovely and comfortable and the reception staff was accommodating and helpful.
That being said - I will not be returning to this hotel and I especially would not bring family here.
When I arrived there was a man screaming at the receptionist and knocking things off her desk. When he finally screamed loudly enough that security heard him the security guards came and talked with him for a few minutes and then THEY LEFT. It was just me, this extremely aggressive guy, and the tiny girl at reception. He immediately started knocking things down again.
Later that night, I heard the sounds of a woman sobbing, a man screaming and loud crashing noises in the room next to me. These sounds went on in increasing severity for half an hour. I was initially scared to leave because the man kept walking into the hallway and slamming the door as hard as he could over and over again. Eventually, I went down and tried to convince security there was a problem, and the security guard was just smirking and occasionally outright laughing. When I eventually convinced him and another security guard to come up to the room with me, they were talking in the elevator about how it was just a drunk guy and laughing about it. Once we got upstairs, they heard the shower running and said “it’s nothing,” with an I-told-you-so kind of look. The shouting picked up again after they left. They didn’t even knock!
I do not blame the hotel for having difficult customers. But I do fault them for their complete lack of awareness and consideration when addressing security concerns.
I didn’t feel safe in this hotel, though the room was very nice.
