The Crown Bar & Guesthouse

We stayed one night in room 2 and it was absolutely wonderful! The room was lovely and had lots of welcome extras including water, biscuits etc . The location is brilliant as right near the beach , very friendly landlady ! Highly recommended , Broadstairs itself is well worth a visit , huge,clean sandy beach , lots of independent shops and great places to eat .

What an absolute gem in the heart of broadstairs. The meet and greet was 5 star, the rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean, extremely comfortable bed with high quality linen, pillows and towels. Lots of toiletries, the shower was very good and what I liked even more was the separate toilet. The family room had a good size flat screen tv with plenty of channels. Great value for money in the heart of the town, would definitely recommend and will be returning

One of the best Sunday lunches I have had. Choice of about six vegetables in one dish for 4 of us. meats were tender and served on very hot plates. Excellent value. Good service. Definitely go here again. Certainly recommend.

When in Broadstairs this is our go to public house, So friendly, so welcomming. Although this time it was only a fleeting visit you always get a warm welcome here. Highly recommended. A clean bar, really friendly barstaff and a lovely landlady. We shall return soon !

After reading some of the negative comments which i ferl were a little harsh, I had to do my own review. Firstly the location was fantastic within walking distance to the most beautiful beach with lovely stalls, bars and restaurants. The main ***** had plenty of shops and bars, yes if you choose to go to bed early it is quite noisy, but we went to bed around 11ish and the noise stopped at about 11.30pm. Did not affect me or my children sleeping. Yes the rooms are a little dated windows are bit run down but I can't fault how clean the rooms were bedding spotless, and super comfy. Tea, coffee, biscuits, water and toiletries all supplied which was a lovely touch. There's no parking, as this hotel is right in the centre of town but we had no problem parking outside the hotel free parking from I think it was 6pm to 9am. But there is plenty of parking around so wont take you long to find a spot. We headed out at 8am to the beach and drove and park on the seafront again with no problem and the beach is so beautiful. Overall the pictures they have posted is actually how it looks its a guesthouse and I didn't have any expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Positives Warm welcome. Location was great. Beds were comfortable Tea, coffee, mini fridge, toiletries all provided Negatives Our room was in the attic and the ceiling was very low Windows frames broken so can't fully shut or keep the windows open
