Hotel the Moon

I leave my luggage in their storage room, what is supposse is secure and thet were gonna take care of it. When I picked up they stole all my electronic devices like drone, stabilazers, mics, money, chain with value, sunglasses, speaker were missing. I asked them to show me their cameras and help me to make a file a report in name of the hotel they also denied that because they didnt want to say it was there and that they deliberate leave always the storage room open. If you decide to stay here just be aware you can be robbed.

The hotel is in a prime location, very close to the Central Station and the city center. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 am and was promptly provided a room. The room had basic amenities that were good value for the money, especially given the location. While the bedside socket was a bit inconvenient, it was manageable. The building doesn't have an elevator, but this wasn't an issue for me. The street in front of the hotel is always lively with street performances, so it can get a bit noisy at times. Two aspects that made me a bit uncomfortable were the lack of an interior lock on the door and the requirement to leave the room key at reception every time I went out and collect it upon my return. Overall, though, the place is good and worth the money.

If you’re on a budget and looking for a clean and comfortable hotel in the centre, this is a great option. We spent three nights here and found the room to be basic but exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower and hairdryer worked very well. The location could not be better. It’s round the corner from the Grand Place and close to the meeting point for many day tours to Bruges and Ghent. The hotel is on a square where there are plenty of shops, food options and a market on some days. It felt like a very safe area to stay in. We were able to leave our luggage after check out and collect later in the day for our evening flight.

Overall, a good spot. No elevator or breakfast, as others have noted, which was fine - it is in a really awesome spot, between Brussels Central station and the Grand Place. The location and reasonable price are the real selling points. The room was fine - nothing special. One window was slightly broken, which let in a bit more noise and outside air, but no big deal. Everything else worked fine, and was comfortable. Would stay here again.
