We booked this as a family trip for a few days. The hotel had made contact with us around a week before we were due to arrive to let us know that the hotel reception would close at 10pm and for us to advise on our estimated arrival time. On the day of travel unfortunately our flight was delayed slightly resulting in it being highly unlikely we would get to the apartment before 10pm. The reception had as promised sent an email with instruction on our room number and how to get in to our room were then our key would be waiting for us. It was a couple of minutes before 10pm and we went to attempt to get to our room with the instruction given. We were unable to follow the instruction. There was a couple just entering one of the entrances so we asked them how we would get in, they looked at our instruction and said that there was information missing from the email that we would not be able to get in. They advised to ring the number within the email and that they would come back to check in 5 minutes that we had managed to get in, which was very kind of them. Fortunately someone did answer the phone and he came down to meet us and take us to the room (which had changed from the email sent a couple of hours before). The lock on the door to the room was faulty and the staff showed us how to unlock and then left us to it and asked us to bring the passports to the office in the morning. The room itself was large and clean but was a little outdated. There was a round hole at the side of the door with a wire in it? Anyway, we went to the shop across the road to get basic supplies and then settled in for the night. We were wakened at around 1am by a child shouting, screaming and banging extremely loud, it seemed to come from the apartment above but couldn’t be sure. The noise went on for over an hour. We finally all fell back asleep. The next morning we went to the reception to give in our passport details and the man on reception asked how was our room. We mentioned about the noise and he said he would speak to the apartment above but that the apartment was not owned by their company. We then went on to start the first day of our holiday. The apartments are extremely central, lots of grocery stores and restaurants a short walk away. Our apartment was C412. There was one lift for each block which can at times become busy as staff need to get their cleaning equipments to the floors. Our second night we had the same noise again, much louder and went on much longer. The following morning I emailed reception to ask if there may be chance of moving rooms. I got no response but that evening there was no noise whatsoever, which was great! The night after this though, the noise returned, starting at 3am, banging for a long time. On check out I had asked if we could leave luggage and was told that would be fine but the recep
