Aloft Buffalo Downtown

Front desk operations are failing the hotel. No assistance available with exception of person at front desk or sometime not there.

Excellent proximity to Town Ballroom where we were going to see a show. Rooms were bright, clean and large!

We've never stayed at an Aloft hotel before. After this stay it certainly won't be our last!! Our corner room had floor to ceiling windows giving us spectacular panoramic views of the city and lake Erie. We also had a balcony with 2 chairs and weather cooperated so we were able sit out and enjoy. The Grab n Go breakfast options were the best. The breakfast sandwich was excellent and Big. The breakfast burrito was huge and the best I've tasted. The XYZ bar was cool. Good drinks and food were really good, especially the chicken BLT wrap. The neighboring place. V/Ice had exceptional salads. The staff was great and facilitie clean and modern

This hotel was amazingly chic You get 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a bowling alley and about 30 other restaurants within walking distance

The view is amazing!

Great place to unwind and just relax! Phil Johnson was a great server at dinner, just a great experience. When the food abbr service is great you can’t complain! Just overall this was a delightful experience and I would recommend it to family and friends

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel on New Year’s Eve 2024. The room was extremely large, 2 beds, and a small table and booth for eating at. We appreciated the refrigerator, coffee machine, and free water. The bedding was clean, and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and everyone had a solid sleep once we were able. The downside, no-fault of the hotel, was the neighbors who shared our balcony. The balcony door open and closed nearly every minute or two, which slammed and could be heard in our room. The neighbors were also yelling off the balcony until after midnight. In some hotels, you can control the fan on the heater and AC unit which helps with some noise dampening, however we were not able to do this in our room - once the temperature reached where it was set, it turned off. Unfortunately, the shower was not very hot, but we really were excited to see that the shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and body lotion were from our favorite brand Drybar. Parking was easy on the fifth and sixth floor of a parking garage, which was covered from the elements and connected to the hotel by elevators. We did not use the amenities like the pool, or rooftop bar. We did eat at a restaurant, VICE, that was at the lobby level and enjoyed the cocktails, but not the food. This hotel is in walking distance to much of downtown, including theaters, live music spaces, bars and restaurants. I will definitely consider booking this hotel again, as we are frequently in Buffalo for events.
