Eurostars Palacio de Santa Marta

Staying at the hotel is a surprise on the road. Originally because I was driving by car, I stayed in Trusillo for one night at night. I didn't expect the town to be quaint. The hotel is located next to the Plaza Mayor in the center of the town. It is very convenient to eat and sightseeing. The decor of the hotel is also ancient, like a castle. The special point is that the breakfast at the hotel is great. Because of this hotel, I may come to this place in the future.
Vincci Valdecañas Golf

We went to spend a day. We were in peace with my husband and I. The room was good and the hotel's pool was very nice. The bad thing was that the beach of the bath was unhealthy and they disconsequently disagreed with the bathroom, but it wasn't bad and it wasn't bad. If you don't like golf or sailing is also a good place. We had dinner there and we liked it ( about 80€). We also had breakfast in the cafeteria (no buffet) and it was very good. The air conditioning was essential.
Hotel Spa Sinagoga

Well, I really cannot believe that the previous reviewer ”TJ_AndFam” stayed in the same hotel as us!! We have stayed here twice before and wouldn't return if it was as bad as that! Ours was a mountain view room with excellent facilities and spotlessly clean. Since staying last year, they now save a buffet breakfast in a room opposite reception. It was excellent - well worth the 6Euros charged. There was everything you could have wanted, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fresh fruit, homemade biscuits and cakes and freshly baked bread and croissants and endless coffee. A couple of points, which weren't as good was that we felt that the staff weren't particularly friendyl - this really needs attention The other thing which wasn't good for us is that the restaurant doesn't open until 9 pm, which is not good for us. Although, ordered at 9pm, we didn't receive our meal until 9.45! So, although we would stay at the hotel again, we probably wouldn't eat there.
Parador de Trujillo

Being an old convent this Parador was similar to others we’ve stayed at. The entrance was very pretty architecturally. The interior rooms were around a central courtyard of what would have been the cloister. Our room was large with high ceilings. In it there was also a sofa bed and a couple chairs. The room doors were low/short, because people in the 16th century weren’t as tall, so a tall person (over 68”) would need to bend down to enter. There was a safe and mini bar. The breakfast buffet was standard Parador with a nice assortment to choose from.
Hospes Palacio de Arenales & Spa

The hotel itself is located just a mile away from Caceres which when passing through it and on the approach to the hotel appeared to be a heavily built up, semi industrial and populated area with high rise flats. On arrival it may take you a few minutes to figure out where reception is as all the signs around the hotel are tiny and far from user friendly. The rooms themselves are quite well appointed with the usual coffee making facilities, TV, a safe, hairdryer etc. There is a small mini bar but be warned it is overly expensive, for example a small bag of crisps is €5 and a small bottle of coke is €6 The staff are all very friendly, courteous and helpful In a so called 5* even in this warm climate you would not expect to find any trace of black mould in the shower/bath area. However, in our room there was and it was clear to see. Non secure parking is available in the car park, however considering the nearby surrounding area if you are on a motorbike you may want to consider booking a place in the underground garage. This is secure but even for a motorbike it will cost you €15 per night. This hotel and its grounds are vast and it has a lovely pool with a relaxing poolside bar and other quiet chilling areas. The restaurant serves very nice, well presented food and the breakfast is very very impressive. A nice hotel but typically for a 5* hotel (Really a 4* with a Spa) they have maximised every opportunity to help you empty your wallet.
