This is definitely a place that is orientated more towards families rather than couples. What was good was the friendly staff throughout the resort, the food and beverage service and the convenient underground parking. Stayed in a deluxe king room on the fifth floor overlooking Cairns city which appears to have been recently upgraded. Room smelt damp on entry and after the first shower it was evident why. It is hard to believe that someone designed the shower so that water flowed directly onto the floor and out into the living area even when you had the least amount of water flow possible. Wee bit of a design flaw I would suggest. Also, when booking a King size bed it would be a good idea to ask guests if they want a second bed in the room along with connecting rooms. I personally have no wish to have connecting rooms unless I am staying as a family. This door along with the front door were not particularly well sealed and you could here plenty of noise from outside and next door. The balcony is marketed as being intimate in yet has one chair and being a connecting room has nothing between you and your neighbours balcony. Hardly intimate. Based on the reviews I am sure this place is perfect for families however, there are better choices for couples elsewhere in Cairns.

One of the high-end hotels closest to the coastline, the hotel has complete facilities, a beautiful lobby, good service, old-fashioned room facilities, and a good balcony view. There is no bottled water in the room, but there is free lemonade in the lobby, just bring a cup. But there is free capsule coffee in the room, many kinds of tea bags, which is very good. You need to bring your own disposable slippers. The location is super good, just a few minutes walk from Nightmarket, surrounded by restaurants and shops, but the closing time is relatively early.

There is no breakfast, the room is large and clean, can accommodate 4 people, one large bed and two small beds, the bed is very comfortable, the room can also cook, and the kitchenware is full. The front desk gave a good attitude to the aunt, and helped us book the rental to the airport at 7:00 the next morning. The room is small and it doesn't feel very comfortable. Free parking (indoor), home apartment hotel. Mainly close to the central station (central shopping mall), I need to take a long-distance bus early in the morning. Walk about 5 minutes to the station. Walk 1 minute to the mall! I have not tried breakfast (I don't know if I have any problems). If you have a family with children, it is recommended to book two rooms in Unicom (not recommended for extra beds, more crowded). Walking from the hotel, there are plenty of places to eat in 10 minutes! A wide range of specialty dining.

This is an old apartment with the furniture and interior look outdated. The best thing of this apartment is the location close to everywhere, but there are a lot of apartment in Cairns too. A few thing we feel disappointed, Firstly we are not satisfy with the service from the receptionist, she is not friendly at all. Secondly is about the car parking even though is included in the price, but there is not entrance pass provided, each time you need to come out from the car and go in to the lounge and walk to the car parking press the open button. The receptionist told us when she is on duty we can just wave our hand and she will open for us, but never happened during our 4 days stay, even she is on the desk she just pretend she didn't see us! Further in the manual book in the apartment saying there is possible to provide guest entrance pass remote control, but the receptionist never offer us! This apartment is old need upgraded, not suitable for cooking even cooking facilities is provided as there is smoke fire alarm, and the range hood is not working well. Pls be aware there is only 1 small lift in this apartment.

It used to be more than 900, but now it’s 670, which is better than a B&B. Cheap and very good. The front desk doesn't close very early, so you can check in later. The hotel is not far from the night market, but it's still more convenient to drive. Parking in Cairns is free on Sundays, so if you plan to go out to sea on Sunday, it's best to leave it at the pier. Everything is free, and you can drive to every place. The hotel lobby is on the M floor, and the second-floor platform where the car is parked is on the 1st floor. There is an elevator to enter the hotel.
