Stayed here for a week with an 11 month old. Booked an all inclusive holiday so that we didn’t need to worry about budgeting during the holiday and where to go for meals. The food was terrible. I know everyone’s tastes are different however even on themed nights the food was all the same, I can’t begin to describe how bad the food was, it made us ill after every meal. The breakfast wasn’t too bad and we looked forward to breakfast because it was the only decent meal. It was advertised as serving snacks during the day however this was only dry hotdogs and burgers which were not appetising at all. The bar was good, the selection of drinks was really good and they did nice cocktails. We only went in the pool once, as it was freezing, the sea was warmer. The staff were all very friendly and helpful so cannot fault that. The room was really basic but clean, we were also given a travel cot which was really helpful, the sliding door to the balcony was broken and had to be forced open and closed. We did want a nice quiet holiday however this wasn’t afforded and we slept terribly due to the noises in the hotel all through the night from other guests. It is supposed to be a family hotel however there was constant banging, screaming, slamming doors all until at least 2 in the morning which seemed to echo through our room. Honestly all we wanted to do after a couple of days was come home. It’s a good job we brought baby food because there was nothing that our 11 month old could eat at all, despite it being a very basic hotel the things that really let it down is the food and the noise from other guests. Other than the hotel, there is a beautiful beach near to hotel America which is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. This beach saved our holiday as if it wasn’t for this I think we would have gotten an early flight home. Other than the beach there is absolutely nothing to do if you have kids. It’s our own fault for not doing enough research but it was a very last minute holiday.
