I gave a star for location a star for the room and a star for the amazing staff. Fantastic location and sea view. Staff are excellent. My biggest complaints are no tea coffee making in the room which I’ve never experienced before. I went fully inclusive but every meal was cold. Sadly for me this is a dealbreaker and I couldn’t recommend Htop Amaika.

Watch out for hidden charges, I found one through the safe charge of 8EUR per day. The room was tiny and extremely dated, the pool is small and doesn’t reflect the clever photography from the website pictures. The hotel is noisy as it overlooks the main street and the balcony doors are thing glass. The aircon in my room was also broken. Breakfast was terrible quality, pastries dry and there was little choice overall, even the coffee is bad. The staff on-site are nice which is the only positive I took from the stay. However, when I wanted to cancel my future days booking and move to a different hotel, the reservation team on the phone and over email just wanted to read me the terms and conditions, charging for the cancellation, with no feeling or obligation to help.

I can’t fault the staff or the service. We were looking for a relaxing long weekend with no stress or worries. The pool was small, but it was hardly used. So we enjoyed May times alone swimming. As it’s adult only, the noice level was low. Entertainment were students from Holland, they were fantastic. Food, we couldn’t fault. For a cheap getaway. It was perfect for us

Our first night of eating in the restaurant my husband and I were extremely sick within an hour of eating in there.. The food was not hot but tepid and bland . We were so ill and almost called the doctor and later on found out there had been a great number of people who had fallen very ill and hospitalised too.. All who spoke to us had eaten in the restaurant. The late night man on reception was extremely rude and just waved his hands in the air and told us to go to hospital. We needed water and we were told to go to the restaurant .. not a wise move when someone has been vomiting all night to enter a restaurant full of people. Reception girl kindly got me a jug of water but not bottled. In addition to this the queues for the restaurant are horrendous and it’s like a school canteen in there. So noisy!! We were here for a week and spent four days in our room living on bread that our family member got for us .. When the sickness first occurred we tried to use the phone in the room to get some help and water but it wasn’t working. This was later fixed at a later date.. i asked for the manager to call me but I received no response. The next day I asked again and still didn’t receive a phone call.. No one was really concerned about this food poisoning and the sickness. The hotel reception is clean, the rooms are basic.. There is no coffee & tea facility in the room.. There is a safe in the room but you have to pay for it. Pool area is rather depressing, not enough sunbeds and full of smoke.. All in all this hotel is not what I would consider a four star more like a two/three. Horrendous experienced!

The hotel is great. The rooms are very nice, the decor is wonderful, we felt like we were on the deck of the Titanic. The food is very good, varied. The service is very nice and helpful, especially the blonde Zuzia ♡ from the bar deserves special thanks. The girl whose smile never left her face for a second, answered every question with pleasure, always found a moment to exchange a few words, which only made our stay here more pleasant. We definitely recommend it to all people who would like to go to these areas.

Have just arrived back today after a week of tummy bug sickness. Seems the bug has swept through the hotel, lots of people with it. Not a good experience. Spoke to lots people there, reception thought eating off buffet wasn't a good idea. I do know that tummy bugs happen, but it's happening big time,bring your antibacterial!
