Calodyne Hotels with Bars

It's taken me 2 months to write this review becuase honestly, I was scared i couldn't do it justice. 2ad 2ch (9/13) soent 12 nights at Zilwa in August. From day 1, I felt relaxed. The hotel is amazing. The views, the food, everything. We had a ”family apartment” which was 2 rooms with an outer door which could be locked leaving a small entrance hall to the 2 rooms turning them into connecting rooms. Perfect. The only downside was the bathroom was open plan to the room but we easily worked around it. Grand Zil for lunch is a must! The first boat leaves at 11am and returns at 3:30pm. The food on the island is so good! You really do feel like you're on a deserted island. Make sure you book! The Lor Disab for lunch was fab. I miss those lunchtime views. Only negative was the lamb is only on once a week! The main pool by reception is very cold, we didn't venture in very often but it's lovely to be there for the views. The pool by Lor Disab became our regular spot and the beach bar was lovely. The boat house had everything you need, including beach shoes if needed. We were unlucky with the wind which meant SUP wasn't available most days but we enjoyed kayaking and a glass bottom boat trip. All included in the AI package. I really could rave all day. Its most definitely in the top of my all time favourite hotels. I'd return in a heartbeat. Thanks to all the staff and special mention must go to Charmen and Rohan (sorry if I've spelt your names wrong) for going above and beyond with their service. Always attentive and friendly. Hopefully we will see you again one day!
